I don't know why but I am never satisfied with how I do Punch/Counterpunch's eyes. I tried like 8 times to make them with this pic and this is the best that it came out.

I too will spend way too much time in Photoshop on eyes trying to get "that look" sometimes.

 

These guys are still pretty badass!!

 

Fortunately, you don't need any modding skills to fix Punch / Counter-Punch mis-assembled shoulder joints.

 

Oh mine aren’t misassembled, I just think they look better this way. Makes the articulation for Punch so much better to not have those shoulder joints hindering his arm movements. So I like to think of them as arm guards/shields.

 

I swear I wasn't planning to buy Abominus. I'm an IDW fanboy. I have zero attachment to any of the dudes Abominus is made of, cause they didn't do jack shit in that continuity. But the Wallgreens clearance price for his limbs was just too good to resist. So now I'm officially in the market for Hun-Gurr. God, this hobby is such a fucking drug.

 

They had sizable roles in Monstrosity and the Sixshot spotlight. They showed up again in the Windblade series, so they even have phase 2 representation. As for that Hun-gurrr figure, I've seen him for about $40 on Ebay but some sellers on Aliexpress have him for $23-24 if you want to try that out. Good luck, they're really a fun group!

 

You know, I'll admit that back when I bought my Windblade trade paperback, I wasn't well versed enough in transformers to recognize them. And I have yet to read anything pre-Phase 2 other than Last Stand of the Wreckers. All I knew is that they spent a sizeable portion of phase 2 locked up in the Lost Light's brig alongside the Seacons. And neither team ever got to combine in the continuity.
