That last bit of Unicron talk just made me think about some Cybertronian finding a baby reincarnated Unicron like the Lich in Adventure Time.

 

So, dunno if you picked up on it, but the “Firedrive with a blue face” is actually Singe, one of Spinister’s partners. And Hairsplitter is included in that set with Skywarp, so we are getting both of Spinister’s targetmasters.

 

Regarding the Unicron price at BBTS, did you all see what they sold the sail barge for? Keep in mind Hasbro charged $500USD:

With that in mind, a $200USD markup isn’t that bad.

Also, BBTS want $400USD to ship Unicron to Australia.

 

I agree that unicron isn’t for everyone, I backed for 1 . Really hope they announce something extra eventually. As is 575 is a stretch for what’s being sold, lights, sounds , a paint wash, something.

Is that dog headed ranger the one they were amazed at? I see that thing everywhere. Also, I don’t like they admit to not doing teams. I want the original team but don’t want to dive in if they don’t complete it. I might go back and get he BanDai ones instead. The metallic ones are all over ThinkGeek and GameStop now

series 3 botbots include a pacifier in the lineup. I'm just saying.

This is some very good news for Australians regarding Unicron. I got my preorder in and within only a deposit required until close to release, its makes it a much better proposition for us.

 

One thing to keep in mind with that BBTS price is the time value of money. If you go this route you'll only have to pay the non-refundable deposit upfront but BBTS is going to have to eat the full price until 2021. They're probably going to be financing the purchase and having to cover interest charges for the next year and a half. Add in a profit for them on top of that and you're probably close to the $200 mark up.

 

I literally stumbled on two out of three Reflectors a day or two after the news drop of Refrackor, so I made the possibly insane choice of skipping them to grab the only Red Alert on the pegs ( cause I have a serious jonesing for that mold- it hits a lot of soft spots aesthetically.)

 

Gotta say, I'm totally with TJ on Ratbat. Sadly, Rumble has so many toys he's a dime a dozen while Ratbat never gets any love. I'm not really feeling this version of the cassette play pattern but I might pick up Ratbat if I see him.

I wish more teams got done with Bandai just because then there would be options for collectors. Like, if you want full teams with less accessories, go Bandai. If you want specific characters with head swaps, go Hasbro.
