I'm sure Hasbro won't think it infringes on its Transformers brand then.  

I was referring to their appearance being almost identical, in response to the member asking why Hasbro would crack down on this figure for trademark infringement.

 

I consider this a kind of expensive hobby and if I'm going to spend this type of money on it. It is only on stuff that transforms.

 

Ive bought 3a bumblebee but I'm going with tw's prime since it transforms. It looks unbelievable so far.

3a's bot form will probably end up a bit superior with articulation and all since it doesn't have the truck form to limit it.

That was my idea but I changed my mind since I never display in alt mode, only in bot form. I will go with a transformable figure unless there isn't any other option like 3a's bee. I'll get Jada's diecast of the volks with the Charlie figure and display it next to 3a's.

Well there's definitely some line of defense in here in case of any eventual dispute - "it transforms therefore it is an entirely different toy, oh and it's called "Freedom Leader" btw"

Arms are different, chest is different, Toy Worlds transforms. It's similar because they're based of the same character model, but they have enough differences to tell their independent designs. I think this just shows how well Toy world did at putting together a model accurate transforming figure. If it's getting compared to a 3A non-transforming model - then kudos to TW.

I wonder at what point they’ll go into production (not judging anything from the supposed ship dates that have been mentioned, no faith in those). Much as I’ve enjoyed the photos so far, I’m now impatient to see a finished article other than a hand painted proto - despite also fully expecting to hear nothing more until 2020 lol

That phrase is so Malaysian I can smell the spice in their Nasi Lemak  . Translation: "If you used Taobao you know how it is..."

 

I hope this and their TLK Optimus Prime can be released... Their weibo page doesn't work, and their Predaking project was moved to another company... Those are not very good signs... Does anyone know what is happening?!
