Walmart North Highlands had one each of the cassette sets this morning, nothing else of note

 

Picked up the sole G1 Soundwave at Walmart Martinez this morning. Box was crushed on side so the workers that collect/sell in the department probably figured they couldn't get any money for it. They're still working on the reset so maybe more stuff will be stocked shortly.

 

Has anyone in the Bay Area actually found G1 cassettes at Walmart yet?

 

Forgot to post this yesterday, but last night (after 8pm), OC Targets at Adams (HB) and Harbor (Costa Mesa) both had 2 sets of Rainmakers on the shelf, along with a ton of other stuff. Nice to see fully stocked TF shelves again!

 

Yes, Last week they were at Antioch Walmart. Didnt last long though

I'm curious has anyone ever seen G1 re-issues on Story Rd Walmart in San Jose since they started with the minibots. Everytime I go there's nothing. What's wrong with the Walmart and it is a Supercenter too.

 

Thought I was finally gonna get G1 Soundwave, one of my local Walmart’s went from 6 to 2 overnight, I get there nothing to be found, brickseek still shows 2 and Walmart.com shows instock as well. I really hope there’s restocks since this was the last of my 3 local Walmart’s to show any stock.

 

What worries me is that if today is payday for them then likely these were hoarded by employees until they could buy them

 

So I hit virtually every Walmart in the East Bay... nothing. The only ones that even have shelf tags for G1 cassettes and Soundwave are the 2 San Leandro stores- WM app says they’re in stock, but nothing there.

Walmart is without doubt the most frustrating retailer to get TF exclusives, especially when you live on the Peninsula... Mountain View doesn’t seem to even carry TFs or SW toys anymore.

 

In happier news, scored the Rainmakers at Foster City Target... 2 sets left on the shelf.

I’m with you guys. Welcome to the club. Very frustrating. Part of the problem is that not every store has completed their reset yet and so stuff is all over the place, most of it not stocked it seems. Brickseek is not super reliable either. Lastly, my guess is that because of the $50 price tag, inventory is getting stolen from some of the stores. Some stores have resorted to spider webbing (and folding down the card back, ouch!) and the one in Richmond has put almost the entire toy section in display cases where somebody has to unlock the case and pull the toy out like they do for video games and expensive electronics!

Found G1 cassettes this morning at San Leandro Walmart. One case of 12. They had Jetfire as well.

 

no g1 at story rd walmart just a few siege chromia, hound, red alert, brunt, others forgot the name and some cyberverse megatron and grimlock.

I found them at Hesperian. I went to both though.

Brickseek shows they only have two left now.
I think they are supposed to get another case Sunday night.
I had them check inventory last week and it showed arriving the 11th.
This case from today was previous inventory they held for the reset.

The Davis Street store shows 20 but I know 12 are missing for sure.
I saw a guy walking around with the case last week but then later at the register with only 4.
So either, he hid them or stole them since only 4 show as sold.
A manager today said they still have more stuff upstairs for the reset. So hopefully one case is still upstairs.
She said Sun night they might bring stuff down. This was not the Toy manager though so she may not be exact.
