I see the repaints and anniversary editions are coming. I do like this line so much I will get them and blue streak looks better than prowl even if he’s a repaint. The prowl was one of the weaker releases of this line
Weird, I preordered Soundblaster for 30 bucks but now the price is showing as 39.99 on Walmart\'s website.
It looks like I'm in the minority, but MAN that cell shade paint looks GREAT. Even though they're only different in very minor ways from the originals beyond the cell shading paint apps, I'm actually looking forward to OP and Megs the most out of these four.
So many people hating on the cell shading, but man, I love it. Already PO’d Optimus and Megatron, they’ll be my definitive versions for sure.
I'm personally pretty excited for the cell shaded Optimus and Megatron. I think it still looks pretty good in these pictures.
Looks like I\'ll be selling my original Siege Optimus Prime because the cell shading is phenomenal. Good thing I preordered mine from Kapow Toys.
For those who hated the battle damage markings on the original Siege Optimus and Megatron and wished for a clean deco, these cel-shaded versions may still be the best option. And if the cel-shaded effect is disliked, there's always a possibility that Toyhax will update their existing sticker sets to cover it up or at least reduce its appearance.
That's probably next. This is becoming a disturbing trend in transformers. Put out a bland version then release superior decos immediately afterwards to double dip the mold. I'm sure if you're patient a deco you like will come along. CW was the age of Re-tools, Siege seems to be repaints. Don't get me wrong I'm enjoying Siege, but I don't care for this practice of enhanced decos right on the heels of the original. I don't appreciate it when 3P/MP does it and I certainly dont need it in the mainline! I agree some of these Siege figures are extremely impressive. Prime and Soundwave both really wowed me.

The cell shading on Optimus and Megatron does look really good, but I'm kind of surprised they didn't come in a 2pk battle pack instead. If the cell shading on these 2 is going to be a one-off, and not a continuing theme, it could have been a "Till All Are One" or "One Shall Stand" pack or something. Throw in a purple repaint of Hound's blaster, pack Megatron in a half kneeling position with the blaster in his hand, with Optimus standing over him with his ion cannon, and I would buy 2.
I would 100% be down with an entire line that did the cell shaded aesthetic. Even just like one year of Generations, just making that look the unifying theme of the line would be really cool.
