From what I can tell Seacons are not part of the "War For Cybertron Trilogy"
Which I am curious how the Trilogy will go...
1) Siege
2)Last Stand
3)RIP

 

When you look at it the Decepticons don't have many in the deluxe size, most of their forces in this line has been Seekers/Troop Builders (not complaining)

Also I'm planning to display Brunt in tank mode, since we've never seen Brunt in robot mode

As for Skyfire, man is he awesome! So big and so G1, I've always liked Skyfire/Jetfire no matter what series he shows up in. And as nice as it is to have all these extra pieces he'll be display looking just like this as if he just stepped out of the cartoon

This summer I finally got my two kids into G1. As they've been playing with my collection, they've bemoaned my lack of a proper Soundwave or Shockwave.
So....
Which one should I get from the Siege line? Shockwave or Soundwave. Money IS an issue, so I figure Soundwave with the cassettes equals Shockwave.
Help me out, TFW!

 

Actually soundwave with his cassettes is cheaper than shockwave if money is an issue.

They have no effect, neither effects ports. I think we can consider them as Potp extension.

 

Well if your local Wal-Mart still has Shockwave in stock and on clearance like some are, then Shockwave would be cheaper than Soundwave with cassettes

Bought a red paint pen for Ironhide but realized today that I could use it for something else. No longer shall half my Decepticons have light piping for no reason, no longer shall Jetfire and Starscream have dead eyes without a lamp directly behind them! No longer shall Shockwave... well Shockwaves eye was fine, but uniformity prevailed.

I don't own him so I can't say, but there should be a review thread on Shocky somewhere.  

Soundwave is definitely amazing in person! My boyfriend and daughter both love theirs. He looks good, feels good, is nicely articulated and his battle damage actually enhances instead of detracts.

Seacons are 6 figures total.
5x 35= 175 + 60 = 235.
But i'll wait for the KO.
Maybe if they do a KO, you can get it for like 30 to 40 usd whole set.
Like these guys i've bought for 30 a set.
And downsized Devy for 35 usd.
They also have Dinobots from potp. I didn't get this KO set because i bought the original one. Wish i could go back and bought the KO instead.  
KO versions are all tight without wobbling.
There are some minor flaws. But i think they are better then the originals.
