Amazingly even tho I don't speak Japanese, or Chinese, I'm not sure, that review was very thorough and clear. Better than the some of the 'big name' US ones I've seen.

 

All the joints are tight on my copy. No issues at all with him except the missing helmet....

The middle one looks like a Galvatron/Megatron mashup or evolution. Where did he come from?

Sadly my budget finally hit its ceiling recently so I'll have to take a break from my reckless TF purchasing. Jetfire (which just appeared in STL-area stores) will have to wait a bit. My want list is still extensive and perhaps prices will go down over time.

Yep, Legends G2 Hero Megatron. I didn't put on the optional labels although I may do the G2 Decepticon one eventually.

I’m surprised I haven’t seen any shots of both g2 megs next to each other.

 

I don't think that Takara's stock photos depict the final deco, considering that the Takara photos for Magnus had a red gun yet the final figure had a silver gun.

I think you should contact the retailer and Hasbro too. I am fortunate in this matters but read posts where users have been given new copies from some etailers or manufacturers. If it wasn't such a great toy (not too mention $80) I might just deal or buy another and put the loose one back in a package. It's the first Commander Class figure and a gem. You gotta get a proper one!

My copy was missing the battle helmet. Emailed Hasbro(got from Pulse). They were responsive, kept sending "we will get this resolved" emails, and then got the "We don't send out parts but will send a return label and if in stock will ship another or refund your money" If I wasn't worried that they would just refund me and say out of stock I would have done it, but the helmet was not a deal breaker for me.

So, Pulse has the first two Seacons for Preorder, but wow, $35 & $60...that will be one expensive combiner...not 3P combiner expensive, but it's up there...gonna be a pass I think...That I will regret no doubt.

 

$200 for a combiner does seem a little steep. I'll have to think hard about buying it. I was hoping they were going to do a box set.

 

unite warriors-ex combiners were regularly $180, this has an extra deluxe putting a normal total to $215 plus the additional new tooling and weapons. $235 is not unreasonable since these are strictly imports. also seacons don't have anything to do with the wfc siege line or the trilogy. not all generations selects figures are siege figures

 

True, but the only UW I bought was Computron at $164. It does make some sense in that context.

I still want a box set though. 

 

Just ordered 3 Refraktors from Kickin' Toys on Amazon for $18 each with no shipping. Once these ship I will be cancelling the 3PK on Pulse. I wanted the G1 cartoon colors but could not find them anywhere in stores and didn't want to pay $60+ dollars and shipping for all three so I went with the original look nostalgia plan. This worked, saved $18. Now what to buy with that...OOOH, Brunt is $15 too...hmmm (SIEGE is going to cause me to go broke, get divorced or killed, possibly all three) I could have worse addictions though, right?

 

Aren't the stock photos often of hand painted versions of the final mold and/or 3d renders?
