Off topic: I need to rehome a 2 year old male cat I just adopted. It didn't work out for us and tried to return to the rescue who refused to take him back, even though our contract says I have to return him to them. It didn't work out because he attacks my 4 year old "playfully". I had him 6 months and tried to correct it and it's not working. Anyone in the raleigh area want him? I have all his toys. I'm bringing him to the shelter this week if no one wants him. He's hw neg/fiv neg neutered. Was in the rescue his whole 2 years of life. I paid $160 for him, but he's free to you. Thanks for any help. He's also great with other cats, him and his sister eat out of the same bowl and both maintain healthy weight.

 

Really? I was there on Friday and they had plenty, but they've been moved to the next aisle over.

I really hope you can find a good home for the cat. I wish I could take him but we're currently fostering 2 kittens on top of the 3 cats we already own - we just can't fit any more.

 

Can the rescue you are fostering the 2 kittens for take another cat? If so, give me some info. The rescues I contacted said they don't take "personal pets".

I checked all the aisles, the guy that worked there said they were all in clearance and I didn't see anything there either.

Walmart in Indian Land/Ballantine area had 4 Soundwaves and 3 each of the cassette sets, as well as 4 Refractors as of 3pm Thursday 8/15.

 

Target Wesley Chapel has a set of The 3-pack Seekers in stock on the Shelf as of 3pm Friday.

 

walmart on hwy 29 in concord has a full box of wave 3 deluxes on the top shelf and the studio series barricade wave deluxes. Target kanapollis didn't really have anything new. walmart at concord mills has 2 cases of wave 3 deluxes including 4 refraktors. both walmarts also have a healthy amount of all the marvel legends 80th anniversary 2 packs.

 

Wal-Mart Mocksville has 1 remaining Siege Jetfire. They also were putting out several other new additions. Refraktor, Red Alert, Brunt, and Hound from Siege. Barricade, Sideswipe, WWII Bumblebee and Clunker Bee from the SS line.

 

Couldn't sleep last night and got in the car and ended up at walmart thunder rd in concord. I didn't get anything, but they had 4 or 5 g1 reissue soundwaves, several of the cassette packs, a full case of the siege refraktor wave, and 1 of the SS deluxe drift helicopter version.

Target in Mooresville had 2 of the fixed chest starscreams. I picked one up, leaving one. They also had one of the micromaster 10-packs or however many there are in that pack. They also had one ss blue car dropkick. Many thanks to a friend/boardmember for the tip on how to tell the fixed chest starscream vs the old ones!

 

May I ask what is this "fixed" chest Starscream. From what I know, they didn't put any pins on the chest by design.

 

There used to be reports of a "fixed chest" starscream with pins in it that has been proven a hoax.

This is something else, and there's still no pins. I'm not sure who originally figured it out, but starscreams that have been recently showing up in retail have a chest that does not come loose during transformation. And although starscream is the only version of the mold I have, I've been told the fixed chest is present on the 3-pack of rainmakers at target. I'm not sure about thundercracker/skywarp.

Thanks to a boardmember/friend for letting me know how to tell the the new release vs the original; the easiest is this: on the bottom of the box there is a number - and on the recent "fixed chest" releases, that number is embossed - the original version was printed. Apparently the decepticon symbols on the "fixed chest" version of the figure are more g1 than the original - but this is much more difficult to identify with the box still closed.

I don't think he'll mind me mentioning him, but I got the information from Gatchaman. I'm not sure where he found it.

Edit: I should mention that before I posted about finding one at target mooresville, I opened it, and the chest is indeed quite tight through both directions of transformation. And it could be just my copy, but the whole figure seems a little tighter tolerance-wise than the original.

 

Wally on New Bern in Raleigh had their G1 cassettes out this afternoon. A few left of each. I picked up the last Soundwave there.

 

Thanks for the info. I've had my Starscream from the start, but have not had any issues with the chest. I did however find that the flap behind the head was flipped. I just took it off and put it back the way it is intended to be. A lot of folks seem to forget to put that flap up in bot mode. It's supposed to cover the hole, between the head and back pack.

 

So, Thundercracker has a tighter chest, like Redwing and the 3 pack. Sadly, Skywarp suffers from the same issue as the first run Starscream

 

My Skywarp seems fine, but I haven't had any other version of the mold to compare.

 

Possibly an individual defect. Doesn’t matter though. Not like I’m playing with them...LOL
