THIS is what I've been waiting for. DX9's were ugly, and I hated the size of the jetmode compared to my other legends jets. Iron Factory didn't do it for me because I have a thing for my F-15 seeker jets (coneheads, not so much; I bought the IF 3pk for those). Magic Square looks just too big--half a head shorter than their prime, which makes them the same or taller than Dutch.

I wanted to see New Age take a stab at the Seekers. Excited to see how these turn out.

Isn't Agamemnon king of kings or am I remembering lines from the movie Troy?

DX9 WiP: Optimus Prime and the Dinobots
    Newage: the rest

Ignoring Cosmos I have the feeling Newage is doing S1 first before they start on S2. Wouldn't mind if this was the way they want to go.

Scroll a little bit up for a picture.

Iron Factory has done quit a few, 11 seekers if you count the coneheads, Kallaite should be out this year, that would be 12.

    Great pic! Thanks! :thumb

That’s what I wanted to see. They all scale great together imho.

Just got my set of NA Bugs today. Really amazing for their size.

Agamemnon was the King of Mycenae and leader of the Greek forces at Troy. He was pretty unlucky, being killed by his wife's lover when he got back from the war...
Love the picture, really highlights the sizes well. Most of MS stuff is way too large, and a lot of DX9 stuff is feeling a little outdated. But I do like both DX9 and MS Primes and the DX9 Dino's are very cool.
I'm about to hit "buy" on the full New Age collection from Tao Bao as a set of Desk Bots - just love their styling. Full-on mini-MP's.
Torn on whether to pick up one of the existing Primes or wait for NewAge to do there's. Likewise the DX9 Dino's - buy or wait for NA...
Them announcing Megatron and the Seekers shows they're nicely filling out both sides in the collection so I'm pretty happy to commit to them.

You're being very defensive of this position for someone who doesn't care what others believe.

I get that but I personally disagree. I want Starscream, Thundercracker, and Skywarp and they're likely to be cheaper in a set than individually. Like how the insecticons are like $55 for the set but comparably sized figures tend to be $20-25 each. The seekers will likely be $30ish individually but I could see them being as low as $75 in a set if we're lucky (though that might be a little optimistic).

That's quite the deductive reasoning, Mr. Holmes, given that every last but of that is circumstantial. I hope, if I ever find myself on trial, that you're not on the jury. Yes, the theory fits those facts but there are other possibilities: they could be biting dx9's style, or, y'know, Hasbro's since the g1 style boxart originated with g1. And using a popular dx9 figure that a good chunk of legends collectors own (and almost all of us have a pretty good familiarity with) to show the scale while they establish their brand. Yes, it's suspicious that the backdrops are the same and dx9 stopped producing legends at around the same time (was Dutch actually out before Bumblebee?) but it's nowhere near conclusive and certainly not enough to prove they're lying when they say there's no relation.

What you quoted is a reply to someone who made a statement that it makes zero difference whether there is a relation between certain companies or not. I chose to reply to that statement to point out a couple ways in which two companies hypothetically being related could indeed make a difference to their operations. Has nothing to do with whether or not someone believes they are related or not. There's talk about DX9 and Newage being related, and then there's talk about the concept of two companies being related. The context of the words you quoted matters, my friend. You'll have to learn to recognize it if you want to be accurate in the accusations you make about text you quote.

Accusations? No no no. Just an observation based on some of the nuances in your posts on the matter.

An observation would be "You seem to be very defensive". "You're being very defensive" is an accusation. I've explained how your accusation was incorrect. Moving on...

So you're an authority on language? Wait... so you seem to be an authority on language? Gotta be easy to maintain your ego since you seem to be able to redefine what the other person is saying. But yes yes, definitely throw in one last snide remark and then "moving on" so you get to win the petty argument while showing you're above all this petty nonsense. Or, I mean, that's what it seems like.

No idea what you're trying to say here but you shouldn't joke about such things. A buddy of mine has been in the hospital for weeks due to a fedora tipping accident.

Ah, that's it. He was "king of kings," in the sense of "commander in chief," during the Trojan War; and he is indeed later seen in hell by Odysseus.

I guess I'll accept that, although I kinda wish they'd gone full blasphemer and named him Y----h (Starscream is Lucifer, after all).

And what would they call Optimus then to rival him?

Following their action-hero names on earlier autobots, "Constantine," of Hellblazer. He fights demons, but would be willing to fight God Himself if circumstances demand. (Also the implication of the benevolent emperor of the same name.)

    ...this has gotten weird.

How do you like the Insecticons? Didn’t realized they’re even smaller than Flipper.

Love the figures. The head sculpts are amazing, better than the Hasbro Generations, for such tiny figures the heads are really clear. They have less kibble than the Generations ones. The transformation is nice. Haven't had the time to try out different poses but they have enough articulation that I think that a lot is possible.

Getting the cartoon version, will be keeping those in bug mode. And if they do a Diaclone version will get that one too. The translucent ones gonna skip, only Starscream's translucent one I'll get. Wouldn't mind the Deluxe Insecticons in this scale.

Love the energon cupes, better than the KFC ones. Can't really describe the feeling of the cubes, they are a little bit soft and stick to each other. Would like to be able to buy these separate and replace the hollow KFC ones.
