Jesus tits... what's happening with the rainmaker sets!?!?
I have been checking brick seek and up until today they had in stock ( green0 notices at all of the Targets AROUND this area, Tenn, East Huntsville, B'ham and so on just none here 72 Madison or uni. NOW They all say out of stock. That's an awesome set that was SUPPOSED To roll out and be available in concert with the reveal at the con, they ( Target 0or Hasbro) said it in an interview but its been a complete cluster fuck to actually find them, they wont even make them available online. My kids REALLY want it. Of course Ebay and the scalper/ online shops have plenty but according to everything I have heard they never even came in at the local stores to me.

But hey Homewood Al has Limited stock 83 miles away.

Also getting salty about the soundwave situation. All three Wal Marts near me have had in stock on BS for days now , the shelves set up with tags and just refuse to put them out, just refuse in one case the entire rest of the toy rest is set up and those spots are just sitting there empty with the stock system saying they have them.

I told yall about the memo I saw in the Wal mart break room that time did I?
" How to supplement your WL Mart income with collectible Merchandise"

It was a set of directions for setting desirable collectibles ... and it called out Transformers and Star Wars Specifically, and said to set them aside in the backroom and open a ebay auction for them and then once the auction completes and they sell to buy them with your employee
    discount.

Ill bet that's what's happening with the Saoundwaves, I saw one set of cassettes once that lasted about 30 hours in Madison, didn't get a chance to get them, yet they too say plenty of stock in all the Wal Marts near me. Id like to get to pick the box rather than go online for these since I want to get a set to keep sealed. Hopefully they overship them on the level they did the OPtimus Primes without trailers so I might get a shot at them in a few months after everybody in a decent place has had them forever.

I've been making the rounds today watching the resets. Jacksonville Wal-Mart had the tape two packs and the new big cyberverse grimlock. Anniston didn't have much, but hadn't made it that far in the reset. Oxford wal mart is in the middle of a massive store reset, so the toy section was out in garden center for the time being, and basicky useless for transformers. The Oxford target had moved sections and had a single rainmaker set and seemed to be investing heavily in cyberverse. Maybe by the end of the week most of the resets will be done and we might get some new stock.

I have noticed that Oxford is of=ne of those places that constantly/consistantly gets the things we never get up here in the Huntsville Madison Area. It is a perfect example of the bizarre problem with this area, it will always be deal last in almost the entire country even when ... no offense but much smaller places like that will have had the , usually common, stuff for months before it ever even shows up here.

And I don't mean before its widely enough available that other collectors or scalpers don't get it first, I mean that for some reason I have never even been given any explanation for ( and believe me I have asked everyone I can think IF) ...this place will not have common stuff in the system AT ALL ( with minor ones and two exceptions on rare occasion to all of this) in til MONTHS after much smaller places will have had it come and go repeatedly. We will miss entire weaves of every class across different product lines and brands, although it does seem Hasbro stuff will be the worst and its even across ALL of the different retailers, Wal Mart Target even down to like Wal greens and Krogers and shit. It is mind boggling , persistent infuriating and has been going on for YEARS.

I worked down at fort Rucker for a few months some years back. Their Wal Mart literally has red clay dust about ten feet into the store, its just filthy run down, looks like its from the mid 90s. I was amazed how caught up I got on ( at the time mostly Star Wars basic figures) just because the run down rinky dink rural Wal Mart actually HAD stuff.

A long time ago I stubbornly decided that with EVERY civilized place ( Like rural Arkansas, Missouri, new Mexico) getting stuff THIS LONG before we do, I was going to resist online shopping as long and as hard as I could JUST because I'm sick of being taken for a ride for the couple extra bucks in sale price and added shipping it forces us into. Plus I like to actually walk into a store and find things, pick them out in person. I also WOULD like to get things relative near to when the online community I participate in does, you know to play along, but everyone already has it and is on to the next thing we wont get here for months if at all by the time I get the original thing everyone was talking about.

WHY iS IT SO BAD HERE?

Oxford is definitely a store I have had a lot of success hunting at in the past few years, but even then the window has been very narrow. Several waves of potp I picked up there. I watched the sighting boards for Florida and Georgia until they stayed showing up and hunted places daily, they would show up surprisingly quickly, once. And two days later you would never know they had been there, and would barely show up again. Most of the success I've had for years has been more me working a schedule that let me check daily when things started to hit than in the stores ability to keep that much product on hand. I've barely seen more than a case of deluxes in store at a time, taking restocks into account. Voyages have been a little different, but when they did get a mass, it was all at once, all the same wave. And the pattern has been similar to other stores, just less stocking. Jacksonville has a different distribution center (based on observations) and has different cycles, but it had the legends infinity gauntlet multiple times, Oxford and Anniston never saw it. Target goes long stretches without restocking much of anything. Then a reset happens and we have a glut of things that won't sell. They still have a bumblebees movie leader Soundwave for $25 as of today. Now they have an influx of cyberverse. The only luck I've had has been by watching surrounding states sighting threads and daily hunting once they are spotted, and within a week they hit and dissapear. That's terrible distribution to me, but it amuses me watching the ebb and flow of distribution, as bad as that is.

The Sutton Road (SE Huntsville) Walmart has Soundwave in stock. About 5 this morning. No cassettes, though. Been to every Walmart in Huntsville and haven't seen any.

Spotted two Studio Series 43 Ksi Boss at University Target. Didn't see wave mate SS 42 Long Haul. Nothing else new, other than a lone Brunt.
If anyone is looking for Beast Morphers zords, the transforming Gorilla, Jack Rabbit, and Insect (silver) ones are there, one each.
Not toy related, but while I was driving back to work after that trip, I saw a real life modern Porsche in G1 Jazz colors driving on Research Park Blvd. Clearly, they are here... and waiting....

Yeah I've been checking the 3 WM nearest me every day since Brick seek said they had them which has been a week,,, for a total of 21 burnt Wal Mart runs just one soundwave. Bullshit

And I appreciate the news on the Rainmakers Magnus I checked that target yesterday and they didn't have it and said they didn't have the dcpi in the system.

For those who played the long game for him, Anniston walmart has a few Leader Shockwaves marked down in the clearance section. Oxford has two Jetfires in lawn and garden.

They also have the following Marvel Legends - Colossus/Juggernaut (x3), Hela/Scourge (x4), Ghost/Luis (x3), and Cap, Iron Man, Thor 80th.

    Good hunting.

So Magnus told us the rainmakers where in Madison Target Yesterday morning at 8: 16., I had to work yesterday and take my son to Martial arts then FINALLY after a 13 hour day get everyone together for dinner, which ended about 9:00 PM, bedtime for kids who started school this week. Took about an hour and a half to get them down by which Time Target was closed.

O took off work this morning to go get one, so I thought. The shelf was empty at 9: 15 this morning, I had the Target employees run the dcpi.... they said they had gotten their entire stock in, done their reset this week and that no more were expected to arrive " in the foreseeable future", not just for the Madison doter but they said it would be for all in the same distribution area.

23 hours. I had told the boys I was going to get it this morning, I have one who identifies with the color green and one who does blue and they wanted this as "Their" set representing them as seekers. I will have to tell them this evening it isn't happening until Target makes it available online if ever

I rarely trust store employees anymore. I have had several tell me in the past that they are dropping Star Wars this was at Target and they still got them in.

Ok... So target's own website said that the rainmaker set wasn't anywhere nearby my location as of this afternoon.. I stopped by the Oxford Target just now after work, on a whim for nothing in particular. Couldn't believe my eyes when I saw that big skittles colored set on the bottom shelf! Needless to say I'm typing this in their parking lot with seekers in tow. Happy hunting y'all!

Was it still just the one set, or had they gotten more in?
