I think the new Studio Series deluxe falls victim to the same fate that the MPM had where Hasbro was forced to mold the Camaro front end to resemble the 2010 production model whereas the actual Camaro used in the movie was a 2006 concept model that had a bottom bumper piece that was more narrow and angular. The 2010 production car has a bumper that makes the whole thing appear more squared off.

Yeah, the old 07 Camaro Deluxe Bumblebee is still a pretty good figure for its age, even after 12 years since its release. The other newer Bumblebee figures may have better screen accurancy, articulation and sculpting but there's just something about this mold that almost none of the other Bumblebee toys pulls off as well.

The vehicle mode on this fella is also very cool, aside from the mismatched yellow paint on the doors.

Honestly, I still like this mold so much I feel no need for the Studio Series version. I only got Cliffjumper during the first movie, but was able to get Bee in this mold when it was used for the Walmart exclusive Bumblebee during DotM. It surprisingly lacks the remolding from RotF, other than the pinned shoulder pads (which I really appreciate).

If nothing else, I'm interested to get the upcoming SS 07 Camaro Bumblebee just to see how it stakes up against his "ancestor" and having another Bumblebee in my growing collection.

Only after making the comparison with the Devastator Supreme ROTF 2009, I realized how much bigger the Devastator SS will be! Evaluating the fact that, Long Haul and Rampage SS form only the lower section of the combiner's legs (the thighs, together with the structure of the pelvis are formed by "Overload"), and that in comparison with the Supreme ROTF, they are at the same height as its legs, its total height can be estimated between: about 45 / 50 cm (besides the fact that even structurally, it will be much larger)! With the Devastator SS, "a dream" was realized that we fans had from 2009... have an oversize version of the combiner, completely transformable (including the individual Constructicons in robot and alternative mode), in fact at the time we had to settle for the "Legend ROTF"... well done, but definitely too small; about the "Supreme ROTF", ok for the size, but otherwise it's just a big (and ugly) toy! 3 Devastator comparison.jpg

So apparently my copy of Dropkick has a gap at the head and I cant get it back in... he also has loose hips. So should I get a new one or ignore it. If anyone knows how to fix the head please tell me.

They should. Ss38 can use some thigh inserts, a longer lower leg, a more movie accurate head and feet.

Future floor polish will fix the hips if they’re on ball joints no problem. Is there a screw or something that holds the head together? If so then unscrew it and try reassembling it. If not then maybe there’s a piece of plastic or something you can shave down there to me it fit? I think either way you should try and disassemble the head if you feel brave enough.

Try putting it back together or shaving some plastic that’s blocking it. If that doesn’t work, I’d get a replacement

Still scares me that they're obviously really doing one constructicon by one.
Overload will have a lot to deal with

One can only hope they at least designed Hightower, Scavenger and scrapper at the same time... But why don't we see any pictures of them? No prototypes, nothing

At work it seems tonight we are getting some new toys in, two of which says Studio Series Voyagers and Studio Series Leader. So I imagine my store is getting long haul and leader prime.

Where did that picture come from?

    66344917_465371564252556_6507398847353784464_n.jpg

    gorzavel.com

it's one of those ad bloated websites you can't navigate. Heck I couldn't even see anything because the ads covered the entire screen...

Can someone tell us if there's more where that came from?

Those stands are making me suspicious. Are they part of the bike modes or are they possibly for some form of combined mode?? They seem to have molded details and even little clip or peg looking things sticking out when they could be smaller and simpler and less intrusive. Makes me think they have some sort of purpose. Gosh I’m so excited for these girls!
I got one from amazon but it wasn’t until the day it was supposed to arrive so it didn’t do much to adjust my expectations. I’m pretty annoyed.

I have a feeling we'll get a look at the rest of the Constructicons at Paris Comic Con.
