Simply put, Ash has left 3A and there is no 3A without Ashley Wood. 3A’s production and QC has always been produced/developed/manufactured by Threezero. That’s Kim and his staff’s entire role in 3A. Ash is the creative force and creative director making original designs and IP. He’s not in HK or at the factories, etc.

The Transformers license was acquired several years before Threezero rebooted into making licensed products. That’s why it’s been under 3A’s label.

Moving forward, the licenses under 3A will be absorbed into Threezero and fall under that brand name. All preorders made with Bambaland or at the WO3A Shop will be honored by threezero. Customers will have access to their order info until those items ship. If anyone needs anything else clarified, feel free to ask.

There are no plans of stopping either the DLX or Premium Scale lines

What part did Ashley Wood play in the movie TRANSFORMERS figures? I know the G1 Optimus figure was designed by him but for the movie figures, what was it he did?

He might not have played any part in the licensed ones. I'd have to look for it but I remember reading from someone who asked him that he wasn't very happy with the fact that the licensed Transformers line (aka something that has absolutely nothing to do with his input) was the most profitable section of 3As catalogue by far and kept them afloat. The good news for Transformers fans is that this shit down means essentially nothing.

There really isn't even bad news for 3A fans, since we've been watching this downfall of the company for years. None of this is a surprise beyond the acknowledgement announcement because they've always tried to dismiss every red flag that the ship is sinking. We even went through that whole new online shop and revitalization crap a few months ago to try to convince everyone things going smoothly despite the lack of care for anything people wanted.

From what I understand, threea was created as a partnership between threezero and Ashley Wood. Why would they release their TF line with the threea brand if Ashley had nothing to do with it? If that was the case, would it not make more sense to release it under the threezero brand?

3A was a partnership between Ashley Wood and Threezero (Kim). As I stated earlier, Threezero had not yet rebooted into a toy company that produces licensed figures when the Transformers license was acquired. Threezero originally made accessories and 1/6th figures/ vinyl figures for indie artists.

Ash signed off on all product with the 3A label on it, including the movie TFs. He pretty much left all the licensing and art direction and management on those projects to me.

Threezero decides what 3A produces ultimately. So if Threezero wasn't into making something for whatever reasons, or prioritized a licensed product over an original product in the schedule, then that 3A project was delayed and delayed again or ultimately canceled.

Just realised this is the last TRANSFORMER to be released under the 3A brand. Adds to the allure I think.

I just discovered these amazing 3A/Threezero DLX figures and just ordered Optimus and Soundwave. Is there anywhere to order the Nemesis Prime from besides Hasbropulse, which is already sold out? Thanks in advance!

They're exclusively sold and distributed in North America by Hasbro Pulse. And there is a portion sold by a Chinese distributor for Asia, but I can't remember who

Wow surprised they managed to sell out on Hasbropulse so quickly. I have Nemesis and Soundwave on order. Nemesis has to be shipped to my aunt though as Hasbropulse only ship to the US. Therefore, she will have to then ship it to me, lol.

You're lucky to have gotten a Nemesis Prime pre-order in! I went ahead and cancelled my OP and SW pre-orders for now and am checking Pulse daily, hoping someone cancels. I really want to have a Nemesis Prime and if I can't obtain one at MSRP or close to it, then I'll just skip the line entirely.

It would let me add one to the cart but I would get a sold out message during check out. :(

It looks like the site has been updated to not even let it be added to the cart now.

If anyone has a second pre-order of these, and they don’t want it, I’ll gladly pay off their balance plus a $75 fee, for shipping and profit (when we get a little closer to the release date). As it turns out, I can’t really enjoy these out of the box, without having a MOSC copy (that’s a manifestation of OCD, I know).

I'm also willing to purchase somebody's pre-order if they change their mind and no longer want it.
