As @Digger mentioned, yeah, you basically pick a photo editing tool like Photoshop or GIMP, and from there, there are a lot of different techniques depending on what you want to modify and how easily you want to be able to generate multiple repaints from the same source image, etc. If you have any questions along the way feel free to post to my digibashing thread (link in signature) and I'll try to help if I can, and there's also some nice tutorials in the fan art forums!

I need some imput here.
So I was original going to get Toy World's Optimus, leaving me $210 left over, but after thinking about it, I am atarting to change my mind. Should I just save up a bit more, or should I stick with my plan ?

 

Well it all depends on your needs. It never hurts to save money. If you are happy with the toy world version that's great. If mp-44 suits you better that's great too. It also depends on if you are a one prime kinda guy. If not you can pick up which ever figure you don't choose later. Either way is a win. Lol

 

I’d probably save up. Mainly because of the far great articulation range that MP-44 has. Although Primorion is my alternative choice for Optimus. Mainly because of the great design, yellow matrix and it’s absolute size.

 

I forgot about Primorion, I was talking about their upcoming BB Optimus.

 

Oh right. Well do you intend to use Freedom Leader for MP display? Or do you just generally want an Optimus Toy?

 

There's more than one way to skin a cat, so to speak. I'm not super tech savvy, but I've seen a few dome on mobile devices. They've just taken screen grabs and used their preferred photoshop software of choice to mess around with the colors.

The exposed truck parts aren't a deal breaker for me as I'll only ever have it displayed in bot mode or in the alt mode wit the cab, but I'd lose my mind over some Peter Cullen voice clips.

So I have bad news and I have good news...bad news, this will be my last official masterpiece figure, and my fourth last transformer ever...good news, I’m gonna relax with a Sunday morning role (tempura role with smoked salmon and cream cheese) a glass of iced Dr. Pepper, and MP-44 in approximately seven days.
