This thread has a history of some saying something to the effect of "no test shot... So they're never coming out! and its gonna be super expensive! And bad!" I get that we want him, but this has been happening so often, and frequently falling into vapid and inane arguments, more than too often with a side dish of hostility, that's why some people dislike when the discussion goes there. I'm pretty sure that XTB will show something once their happy with it. It's kinda how they make money.

My Dead End is pretty good but just as you say in my previous description my version has the peg problem. I think it had to do with the weird wrist/folding forearm and the sizing of the hand below the top of the arm fitting with the handle. Never should have happened. Similar to peg issue on KFC Apeface. I just don't understand how companies don't play with or transform the figures before shipping. Like the issue with the hand cover on GigaPower Superator. I am not going to have that problem but that is super easy to screw up. How can you be so careless with something you must have tested a hundred times for fit and not transform a figure and think of something like that. All of these companies, much less for FT, just repeatedly do stupid sh1t that makes no sense and it follows through in all aspects of their business to sales and marketing. I am tired of the "lack of experience" argument. They have been in business for years now. Not the first rodeo.

They did put out a color plastic tolerance version that they like to do with light purple black and I think grey with matte and gloss finishes for contract. It appears to me they like to use those to test plastics, tolerances, and effects of paint. That was the final design of the figure barring tolerance issues. It was just badly displayed to highlight motion. I think the holdup was actually design changes to the Menasor skeleton and I guess trailer and whatever accessories. The obviously have the prototype for that done to release the other bots. As usual they are taking their sweet time. I received my Overheat with a cracked right shoulder in the box so I am waiting on TCP to get that right. I just hope XTB gets this out before the end of the year. I am tired of the 3 figure a year crap at the same time and then nothing. I literally got all 3 of my figures at the same time.

Oh, there was a post where he said G2 Deadend was coming first in October, which would almost assuredly be at TFCon DC, and that Gravestone was coming later than that. Given its the end of that month, that doesn't leave much room for an October release. But I predict December/January, but if not then, March/April because of CNY.

Honestly, if Gravestone isn't out before the end of the year, I might actually want them to wait until after CNY rather than rushing to get it before then given the QC issues they've been having.

Oh, as for the three years out for FT, I don't think it was facetiousness but rather rounding. Like no way they finish it in 2020. Maybe if they weren't alternating between them and the Aerialbots, maybe. But Spoiler is likely the last Stunticon we get this year, as the next thing after him would be an Aerialbot, and we haven't even gotten hints of who that would be. Given how long its been since Spoiler's been announced and its not even out yet, I'm skeptical we'd get this Aerialbot and another Stunticon this year. (and I think even this second Aerialbot is iffy)

So even then I think 3 Stunticons and 3 Aerialbots plus the other things on their plate in 2020 is ambitious. But yeah, that being said, I think "3 years out" is them saying 2021 even though the end of 2021 isn't even three full years from now.

Basically, the peg at the bottom of the torso has a notch on it, which a piece in the waist grabs on to. Pushing the button pulls back on the piece so its no longer grabbing the peg and making the hole the peg is inserted into of uniform diameter so it can be pulled out.

When the torso has been sticking for some people, its because the bottom of the peg on their copy has imperfections and is catching on the hole. But if you unscrew the screw at the back of the waist that will open it up so you can pull the torso out. Someone asked this before and I forgot to answer, but yeah, there's no worries about like springs exploding out if you unscrew the waist. The "waist capture mechanism" is sealed so when you unscrew the waist halves, the springs and hook piece are intact on one piece. (Unfortunately, I'm not at home at the moment to take a pic of what it looks like)

Anyways, after its out then you can just take a file to the peg and smooth it out so it will slide easily in and out of the hole.

Well I was just saying October for Motomaster because that feels like enough time from their last release. Honestly the pace on this set has been pathetic. How long ago did the first two come out and how many months between the second and the next two? But if all of July, August, September, and October isn't enough to get MM finished, then they really need to work on their process over at XTB - that's just too damned slow. And if it's not even until CNY, that will be so freakin' annoying.

As for FT, I dunno', you might be right. They need to work on their pace as well. It's getting to the point that they announce a character and I'm like, "Huh. Neat," and then I proceed to forget all about it because two years is way too long to stay hyped for a toy.

Meanwhile, Zeta annoyed me with the delay between the first two Aerialbots and the rest but that was because they were producing their Combaticons that whole time. Two full combiners in - what was it, a year? Maybe a little longer? That's the pace that XTB and FT need to be striving for. And, unless I'm remembering incorrectly, they had a few other releases in there too, right?

I feel like ibot himself has lost some enthusiasm for this project. That's why the last two were ho hum in terms of QC and it's also the reason why we haven't seen more of this project last month as promised. ibot must be thinking: "next time I'll just focus on minibots"

You have to press pretty hard and deep with them. It hurts the finger tip a little. When u start to feel the pain it should pop apart ;)

It sure seems that way. I might be wrong, but I think the last time they showed pics of the combined mode was over 2 years ago. It kind of seems like this is a chore for @ibot instead of something they are excited to release.

Make sure you move the engine upwards. It stays with the top half of the body. You will need to separate the legs to get it out.

How is this not reported yet? Pics are from Daimchoc FB.
MX-13T Crackup toy redesign. Looks like the beige is colored and the art box has him in white? Are we getting a third recolor with this and the G2?

F XTB. Had I known the toy version would be coming, I would have waited.

Toy versions too? I hope this doesn't push Gravestone back. They will probably release Gravestone Toy first, G2 second, and toon last. Stupid waiting game. My interest in this is starting to die.

They could redesign the other 4 limbs too. Seems it's toy and toon designs.
