Yeah that makes me notice why arcee looks the best. It's because both others are based on her. They all have the arcee torso and spine. The heads were always the same though

Why is Elita-1 misstransformed in her CAD render?  
Bit awkward. The spike on her foot wheel looks like it can fold out to the side like in the cgi. What attention to detail, wow. So the only "cheap" thing about them is the reuse of arcee's body

 

Thanks for offering but I think I'm going to wait it out and see if I can find a clunker Bee. My thinking is I'll just keep '70s Bee in vehicle mode so I'd want that to be as accurate as possible.

It’s just that the WWII Bumblebee mold, while unique, is quite the shell-former, even for a movie toy. And inaccurate, making it stand out from the film-accurate SS line. I know for obvious reasons they can’t make them Nazi cars like they were in the film, but wasn’t their concept art of Hot Rod as a tank?

It almost looks like the gun will slide over the hand, rather than being a swappable piece.

 

Honestly, they probably could. If I remember correctly, bee was just a staff car, and a Mercedes at that. As long as they don't puany any swastikas on there, it would probably fly. If they did do it, it would be kind of neat to make goerings blue goose outta him.

 

I find it weird that at the display the new Bumblebee looks yellow, but the actual image looks tan/orange.

I should add that its nice to see a new Hot Rod, even if it is a retool of the WWII Bee. Hopefully, we see another version of his Lambo form.

 

I mean, the whole point of the staff-car mode was to infiltrate a Nazi encampment. The closest thing to robots-in-disguise the franchise has done in a while. (Seriously when is the last time alt-modes have been used for disguise?)

 

Probably in AoE when the Autobots were in hiding and Bee changed his alt-mode to accomplish that.

 

Now that is accurate than the 2009 figures.

His feet are a little of for me, but he's a must have!!

I'm sure we'll get the labels, but I hate that Arcee has the front of the bike on the wrong side.

I'm also hoping that Elita1 is mistransformed, and that she turns at the waist, allowing for the bike parts to be on her back.

While he is a shellformer, to me, there's something cool about his legs, I don't know why, but they just appeal to me.

And I don't recall Hotrod's concept art being a tank, but I could be wrong.

Those high res pics are heavily edited, such is why the colors are off.
