How long did it take to dry? And issues with it rubbing off?

 

I think Testors Acrylic International Orange would be a good match! just a fine point brush and don't press too hard.

The Molotow is an acrylic paint marker (I wanted to be able to wipe it off/remove it easily if it looked terrible, plus I didn't particularly feel like getting out my mask or anything to deal with fumes) so it dried quick. No rubbing but then again I haven't made an active effort to try and scrape it or anything. Those fins don't make contact with any parts of the figure or the ground or anything either during transformation or when in either mode so there's no reason that it shouldn't stay on. The marker was about $7 from Blick Art materials, you can get them on Amazon too.

 

as an aside, out of curiousity I was looking over film promo stuff from TLK and it seems like the initially offputting matte roof of DX9/UT's Hot Rod is actually pretty accurate to the movie car. While casually looking for photos of Centenarios online shows them mostly being all covered in glossy carbon fiber, for whatever reason the one in the movie did have a matte finish on the roof (as well as orange striping that went up and over the door surrounds, which I'm not even remotely confident to try to put on the figure. Nice touch by DX9/UT to notice and include it, even though it seems odd at first glance on the toy and I'm sure there's no shortage of people who will probably think that it's even a mistake on their part.

It's very likely, Peru Kill was koed a while ago and the next logic move its that Challenger gets koed as well, soon after La Hire will follow.

 

Even the tires have the orange coloring and the wheels should also have the carbon fiber pieces.

 

I just finished transforming this guy for the first time ..... WOW. It's hard putting into words the exhilaration I am feeling right now. There are just so many Masterpiece moments with this guy. From the way the legs form to how the torso eventually plugs together. UT/DX9 pretty much knocked this one out of the park. This guy has secured a spot in my Top 5 of the year.

It's truly funny observing the bickering between the official only people with the 3rd party people when it comes to G1 MPs, because when it comes to Transformers, UT/DX9 is king of the hill IMHO, and this is from someone who hates the Bay movies.

The only thing lacking from this guy is just butterfly joints, but that's just nitpicking.

 

what shipping method do tfx use? is it easy to be track?

 

This might be the next toy I get. I was planning on OSKO Blackout, but reading posts like this has me leaning towards Hot Rod.

 

I think you have options, but I've never personally ordered from them.
