I really hope they release more of the Akira Amemiya kits. The devastator looks good. So far he's just done the Seekers & Primes right?

Bumblebee I’m pretty sure as well. Maybe also that Hound which I’m thinking may be shelved.

Okay, the Drift model kit is like a downscaled but nearly-as-detailed version of their Kuro Kara Kuri figure... for a sixth of the price?? That's pretty awesome.

Drift was not a character I care enough about to shell out $300USD on. $30-40, though, I can do.

Are these figures not news-worthy? There's a bunch of new photos of Drift and Skywarp on Flame Toys' Facebook and elsewhere, which I believe are the first finished pics of these guys, but I don't see anything front-paged yet.

The funny part about Devastator is that he's about to be on par with the gundam kits IRL in terms of scale.

I mean consider Prime in most places comes up to 25-30ft while Devastator, a combiner, comes up to at least 50 to even around 100+ft if you count IDW's explanation to mass-displacement on why some characters grow and why some shrink when they transform.

I may have worded that weird but what I mean is that when he's all set up and you compare him to say the MG Gundam kits, in any other works of fiction its pretty accurate vs both of Flame Toy's Prime kits compared to the RX-78-01 when in other works Prime would come up to the Gundam's knees.

Oh right, wow they’re that big? Never thought it’d be Devastator height.

if you go by G1 solicited height ~16m for devy he’s actually shorter than Grandpa , RX-78-2 at 18m tall.

Wish Drift was a little bigger. He's basicaly deluxe sized. If he was MP car sized he'd fit perfectly in my collection.

The high-end figure is a bit taller than the Masterpiece Car figures. But obviously several times more expensive.

He scales well with MP-44 in my opinion.

I’d have to agree with that. Drift makes being bigger as well. He’s a trained warrior, strong and beautiful.
