I still wish the annual multi-show crossovers would have their own stand alone home media releases. At least for the convenience of not having to switch between different shows when trying to watch the whole thing at once.
so ... I guess batwoman will have a shorter episode count ? only way this could work ! supergirl ep 10 + batwoman ep 10 + flash ep 10 + arrow finale + supergirl ep 11 + flash ep 11 + legend ep 1 nope ... still doesnt add up !
1 episode each of Arrow, Flash, Supergirl, Batwoman, and Legends. 3 in November and 2 in February (or 2 and 3 who knows).
Arrowverse's 'Crisis on Infinite Earths' 5-Part Crossover Will Include Legends and Span Midseason Break
Okay, some thoughts here: 1. It makes more sense to not premier Legends until early 2020 so they don't have another 5 month break between episodes as that was friggin ******ed this year. 2. Are they changing Supergirl's time slot again or is it airing back to back with Batwoman? Of course, I'm not planning to touch Batwoman, so I guess it doesn't matter. 3. So no Black Lightning again? That's not a good sign for BL. 4. Wait, what does this even mean: That doesn't make any sense at all. Who the fuck wants to wait months for the big story arc to conclude? If that's the case, why not just hold off until Jan to air it? Plus, that means Flash won't disappear until 2020 and Arrow won't end until next year either. Or am I misunderstanding this? To be honest, I think I'm done with these shows after Crisis unless Crisis manages to fully rejevunate them. I've grown bored of these shows that focus more on drama than super hero action, especially when they keep repeating the same plotlines over. All I want to do is see a fun happy Flash speed across the city to stop a simple bank heist or save people from a burning building without there being some major agenda behind it. Not to mention I want to finally see the proper Rogues.
Black Lightning is never gonna be part of these crossovers. They only did the whole ship a shows main actor and his suit to another shows shooting location once, the Flash episode of Supergirl. And that only happened cause Grant Gustin was willing to do it. And Black Lightning shoots a hell of a lot farther from the other DC-CW shows than Supergirl used to. The second one. And since that press release confirms 3 episodes in December and the other two in (I'm guessing) February. Means Arrow is in the first block and Legends the second. The question is how they're gonna piece our the other three shows.
Well just because the series is not included doesn't mean it's title character will appear as at least a guest star.
I get that, but it's not like they haven't had a year to plan this out and schedule everyone for the crossover. If they can get Batwoman into the crossover despite premier a few weeks beforehand, surely they could have done the same with BL. That sounds really dumb. Seriously, who wants to wait that long for this "grand event" to occur?
Kevin Smith was directing a Supergirl episode when they shot Invasion (apparently Flash is the mothership for the crossovers). And according to him they lost Mellisa Benoist for a week so his episode went weird schedule wise. To get Flash in Supergirl season one they had to hustle as they could only use Grant Gustin for like 4 days. And those were in either the same metro area or a two hour flight away. Getting in Black Lightning would be WAY more time consuming. Like losing Cress Williams for 2 weeks. And comics come out every 30 days or so. So you had to wait a year for the comic Crisis on infinite earths to finish. The TV version will only take a third that time.
You know with all the past heroes rumoured to be in this I wonder if some of the scenes are going to be just briefly seeing the particular earth then seeing the antimonitor destroy it.
