I like making my diaclone dino collection in different scales like real dinosaurs, so I decided to add slag to it. Blue metallic paint might look streaky/splotchy due to the drybrushing. painted his feet a better gold, and some silver accents throughout. Im proud of how that chrome turned out. used a chrome spray inside the mouth too. getting it around the horns was tricky without messing up the smoothness of the chrome. painted the red stomach to emulate that old toy look. i chose not to give him white thighs because i actually like the look of the dark metal grey better. 3d printed a sword i found on thingiverse by drkstl image of OG for comparison. heres a bright color to show how chromey and reflective the paint actually is. bonus shot with the gang sans snarl
Fansproject made a pretty nice snarl and I think they repainted him into a diaclone one too. But i reckon the OSKO potp snarl would work too
DecoArt Dazzling Metallic Peacock Pearl for base. then, i dry brushed it with some Tamiya X-13 Metallic Blue. Hope this is helpful. i know a lot of artists choose to ignore paint questions for some reason lol
Great Job! Also I know this might sound really stupid but, Imagine doing Thanos from Prime Ratchet? (I mean his head kinda looks like his helmet an he has his chin plus the right face, And his hands kinda look like the gauntlet.)
Not stupid, creative tbh. Though the issue with that custom is that he has a lot of fiddly moving parts that would make the paint scrape off inevitably (lol). The reason my diaclone ironhide MP hasnt had much scraping is due to me not liking his transformation sequence.
