I ordered the Rainmakers and Micromaster pack at around 6:30am PDT on Sunday morning. The triplets shipped yesterday, but I got a cancellation notice for the micromasters this afternoon, even though the damned things were still in stock yesterday. I'm pretty pissed.

 

Ok so got some info. My rainmakers are shipping from romoland, CA. There must be none on the east coast.

 

Same here, except my local Target is a little lacking in the quality department. They let me know I could come get mine at 10:45 last night... 15 minutes before they close  

 

Ordered my Rainmaker set 6:46am EST, Sunday, with my delivery date scheduled for 7/31. Went from backordered to "order created," yesterday. Got an email 3:30, this morning, with a new delivery date of 8/6. While I'm happy *most* people that ordered this set are getting it, I'm kinda frustrated that orders placed after mine are being filled before it (while still hoping mine doesn't get canceled between now and the new delivery date).

 

The circus continues. Mine is supposed to be shipped to store with a delivery date of tomorrow. No updates at all, just an available for pickup by 8/1. Today I noticed the charge on my card for the rainmakers dropped off. No updates on the website about my order. I swear if they cancel this I'm done with them and cancelling my other two preorders on Thundercracker and Springer. This is ridiculous. If I ordered when it was available to reserve my item, silly me, I expect to get it.

They are being filled from different warehouses, clearly one has them in stock and the other is waiting for a new shipment. Target never runs out of an exclusive. Wait a few days and everyone will get them.

 

Yeah, I was talking with a buddy last night about how in another month we're all going to be bitching about how sick we are of seeing these things clog the shelves at all of our Target stores.

And i certainly do hope they start clogging the shelves. a lot of people want this set and everyone needs to the opportunity to get it.

If they never run out of exclusives...then why did orders get cancelled?

 

Orders getting cancelled are likely due to warehouses not having enough stock. They'll liekly get restocked, but at a later date.

 

So, Slipstream just arrived...stuffed into a box that is way too small. The card is bent/folded over on to itself...thanks a ton, Target. Asshats.

And here I thought horrible shipping decisions were limited to Amazon. Guess I was wrong.

I spoke with a Target CSR about my canceled order. My Rainmakers set was "supposed to be fulfilled by a store" but was canceled "due to issues with packaging." WTF? For what it's worth, it was supposed to ship to my home.

 

Store pickup- successful.

That's the same reason I was given as to why my Micromasters were canceled, in addition to the "nearest warehouse not having any stock" - I just couldn't remember the terminology they used when I created my earlier post.

I don't get Target's decisions. I got the Micromasters today on my porch. They shipped from Knoxville. The rainmakers (which I ordered first at 8:09am so long after most) is coming from somewhere in California. One guy in same city got his order cancelled and ordered before me. That makes no sense. I am not trying to rub salt in anyone's wounds. I just think they need to fill orders that were placed first, not by location or stock availability. I work in a warehouse. We deal with tuxedos. If we have 5 of a certain size, we fill by who ordered first. It will come on a blue, green, or yellow ticket classifying the week. Pink tickets are orders just pushed in. The only time we hold a suit from 1 order is if the order came from IN town and we can get that to them later in the week when they request a Friday pickup. But call me silly...just seems practical business to fill orders as they are placed.

Yeah, I ordered Sunday morning at like 1:50am. I had to be at least up there in line in regards to ordering these. My Micromasters delivered today but my Rainmakers were first "backordered" and then shipped out yesterday to supposedly deliver Friday, and I've seen several other members who ordered long after me and living across the country receive theirs in the last couple of days. I'm not crabby about it, it's just super fucking bizarre...

 

Oh, look. A customer satisfaction survey arrived in my inbox from Target.

 

Sounds like the review i gave ford motor company after they fixed my recall notice but skrewed up my windshield wipers. Be prepared for follow up inquiries of your dissatisfaction. Lol

 

I tried to order redwing and the rainmakers today through the Target App and it won't allow me to. Pretty lame. Been a redcard holder for years.
