Is there a trick to getting him in to dino mode. I cannot seem to get the legs to tab in to the grey tabs on the body just below the gold chrome bit.?

I always wanted Grimlock and the wait is over. One thing I want to say is how characterful the dino is. Didn't think I'd say that about a model, but if it suddenly starting speaking I wouldn't bat an eyelid.

 

The legs/thighs need to be angled up, not straight.

Hopefully this helps. Also good lord untabbing him is hard work. Getting those last back tabs out is tricky. I had to open his 'wings' to get to it.

I'm liking grinder a bit more in bot mode. There's something about his bot mode that looks more heroic( for the lack of a better term) and dynamic. Superator looks way better in dino mode though. Overall i think Grinder's just a hair better but superator is definitely awesome and worth double dipping as well.

 

DAMN SON. These guys don't half look epic as a team.

Still wish his Dino mode was a little more G1 but he really does look amazing. He has a real weight and strength to his proportions that the MP was always missing. (And glad to finally have a grimlock who doesn't actually look like he just has massive legs for arms)

It's been a LONG wait to get the whole team together, but totally worth it.

 

WARNING WARNING WARNING

Biggest note so far - WATCH OUT HOW YOU OPEN THE FLAPs FOR HIS HANDS. It's not too tight or too frail or anything like that - but there's ONE SPECIFIC way they open super easily, and the rest will end up getting snapped. It might look like it might not snap. But it will snap. There's gonna be some people here that WILL end up snapping them off accidentally, I can guarantee.
If it seems tight, you're doing it wrong and it will snap.

Get the Arm in to this position, with the elbow pad touching the back.



You'll see there's more room at the front now so it can open easily.

Slight bit of moisture on the inside of the box but it didn't affect the figure. Loving it, Superator is HUGE, prepare for it! The GP figures took a long time to arrive, but totally worth it.

Just need the throne now!

 

Just a quick question... Do we know what, if anything, GP has in the pipeline now? Paddles, Sky Lynx, Predacons, etc?

 

Really happy with him, however mine arrived with a paint scuff on his shoulder. Hoping Tony @ Robotoybase can help me out.

I definitely see the same thing but I'm remembering toon Grimlock being tall/skinny in his upper dino body so GP's looks better to me.
