Fern Creek Walmart still have 5 or 6 as of 230pm today. Its strange how that Walmart always has more than any other. Why is that??
3 to a case, I believe. Fern Creek Wal-Mart still has two now. Sadly because both were my own rejects when I bought mine and Walt's. Both seemed to have chips in the purple paint on the base's emblem.
You know after reading about your rejects, I looked at mine. Hmm, what happened with quality productivity?? I have smudges and misprints on the two I bought. Kind of like when I bought '08 Bumblebee and he has a thumb print on the window shield. The package isnt opened either. Weird huh?
There were 7 of them at Bashford Manor Walmart around 11:00 AM, there are now 6. They are not in the TF section, they are out in the isle in that little display that had Optimus Prime blasters and helmets in it before.
I checked the Nicholasville Wal-Mart today and they have 18 on order, but none in stock, in transit, or in the warehouse. She even checked all the stores in a 30 mile radius and they are all showing no stock as well. Kinda sucks that they are now hitting in KY, but have completely missed Lexington. The warehouse is empty. Not sure how that will spell me getting one. Alpha_Prime, I may take you up on that if I don't find one by next weekend.
No problem, I'd be glad to help out. Also, just to let you know, concerning Walmarts ordering system, when they scan or put a upc into their Telxon (handheld scanner) and there are some on order, those can show up any day. The way it works is that number will not show as in warehouse until it is 1-2 days from hitting the store, so if you have someone check and it says in warehouse, be sure to hit them that night or the next night for sure. Also, it sometimes just skips over that completely and will just show up in the store. Items rarely ever show up as in transit, unless you have someone scan it the instant that the truck is on the way to the store with the item. I know it can all be a little confusing, but I think that's the best way I can explain it. Just remember if it's in warehouse, it's coming that night or the next night.
I got one. Looked good and everything. Opened it.......and the f***** right thumb is missing!!! The store had two. The other one (which I now wish I had bought) had blue streaks all over it, like somebody took an ink pen and drew on him. It sucks because I picked this up while on a road trip, so I can't go and exchange at the local Starscream-less Walmart. I'm hoping at some point in the next 90 days I see him around here so I can exchange. Anyway, just a heads up. Look at the hands on this guy before you buy.

Yo RISQ I live in JEFF too, and infinitron I was at Clarksvegas Wally world at 9:30 and they had 3 on the top shelf by the old movie toy display w/ the leaders. One box had bent corners one had bent plastic window and one was perfect. I don't like f'n w/ masterpiece type transformers as far as fiddling around w/ them so I took the best box remaining to leave him in next to DVD anniversary Prime. I'm glad we all appear to be finding him before the ebay goblins snag them up. Makes me wonder if all that fretting is much ado about nothing.
Also I forgot to ask, what do you guys think about doing a meet up like the Philly fans do? That would be cool, I don't hide the fact that I'm a big transformers fan from anyone but I got no one around here to geek out w/. I pretty much drive to Louisville every other week to get my comic at the Great Escape anyway, I was thinking some of us could hook up somewhere in the highlands there and do the old swap meet or just hang out among other Transformers fanatics every now and then.
I'll be in Louisville next Saturday night. Actually closer to Middletown. I'll be taking exit 19 off I-64. Not that familiar with Louisville. Can anyone in the Louisville area tell me where the local Wal-Marts are in that area? I might check for Screamer while I'm there if he doesn't turn up around here first.
If you take the Gene snyder North off exit 33 for Westport RD West has a WM and further down the Gene Snyder South Bardstown RD exit does as well.
FYI: Westport Road Walmart never has anything. I say that now and when you come into town they will be jammed pack. Better to go to Bashford Walmart or Fern Creek. They seem to be the two that have everything now and then.
Middletown actually has one now. It's there Bigg's used to be, at Middletown Station, which has all but been demolished when I was there a month or two ago.
I had the same idea a few months ago but I think lack of interest killed the idea. A few members were talking about it but nothing was done. I'm still up for a meet up. Oh BTW Florence Wally had about 10 Screamers. I took 3 but left the rest. That was only an hour ago.
Well, I just picked up the Metallic Ratchet at Bestbuy in Middletown. It was $19.99. They had 2 left. I also went to the Wal-Mart in LaGrange off of the I-71 and picked up a Masterpiece Starscream. There were 2 left there as well.
Megamus good to see someone els might be down. I drive a truck for a living and I'm home every weekend. A good plan would be to meet up at the Great Escape on Bardstown RD. We could hook up sometime on a week when the new issues are out, that's when I go purchase what's in my pull box. The next two weeks don't have any new issues but I bet we'll get the next installments of devastation and ascending the week after. I love that place, got me a loose complete Armada Jetfire there for $12 this last Saturday. I was trying to get one on ebay for $20 for weeks and kept getting outbid, but then one just pops up there.
