Finally got my lancer in.

 

Hey, at day 12, Unicron's almost at 2000 backers! It's below where it needs to be at the moment but I suspect the momentum will pick up closer to the end. Plus they'll probably add the TT backers as well (hopefully they haven't already).

In other news, my Lancer and Shackwave will be here Monday. Kind of wish it were sooner but as long as I get them, it's fine.

Got my 3 refraktors yesterday, never did get a shipping email. Lol. They just showed up.

 

Same here (I only got two Refraktors, though) - no shipping confirmation email and the order status page still lists it as "paid, unfulfilled".

Actually they have. The last one was Fandom52019. You needed to be a pulse premium member to use it.

oh yeah, that's right - i used it on a ~$10 item so that it felt like a 50% off coupon...!  

well other than that one, hasbropulse has been total crap - it makes me long for hasbrotoyshop back, just for the occasional coupon here and there!

 

For me the key difference between Pulse and HTS is that they actually have the items up on Pulse for purchase!! Having a 20% off coupon is awesome but there was never anything to buy on HTS! Well, unless I wanted to buy more from wave 1 of whatever.

 

Exactly. HTS felt like visiting an online flee market with a bargain basement web design. Pulse actually feels collector oriented and actually gives you stuff you want to preorder up front. It’s no way perfect but a hundred times better then HTS.

Let’s not forget that Pulse puts up Takara exclusives on preorder as soon as Takara does and without crazy markup or crazy shipping costs.

 

I'm a little disappointed that I won't be able to test the premium experience against buying SDCC exclusives - there weren't any I wanted this year. I'm kinda curious how that will shake out for those who are keen on them. How strange it is that they're so far off in the future. But at least no one is required to camp out for days on end. I kinda feel like all the retailer exclusive pre-orders sucked up the wind for that energy this year.

 

Does the survey coupon code not work anymore? I tried to use it, but it said it was invalid. I though it expired on the 31st of July?

 

I also tried it just now, and it didn't work. That sucks. It wasn't supposed to expire until the 31st at 11:59pm EST.

 

Usually you had to take the survey to get the code, but I was able to use the code without taking the survey. I believe you have to be a Pulse Premium member in order for it to work.

 

I am a premium member and took the survey. I guess the code expired early?

 

Yeah I’m also a Pulse Premium member. Oh well, guess I’ll just cancel some Pulse preorders and take them to Amazon and Best Buy, where I will also get 5% back for my purchases.
