I would just try and ask. The guy was really cool last night. I just gave him the upc and he was like it shows 7/28 and 6 are coming in. Mind you I was there around 11:45pm on 7/27. I was hoping I would see the box and I could just get them. But didn’t work like that.

Remember they use RFID Inventory so just because its in the building does not mean it has made its way to the floor. Ask them if they have implemented WK 28's Modular Set yet in the toy department.

 

I know the answer to that is no. It’s all clearance peg hooks.

 

Use this one - its the generic case one & it does indeed work. I've seen it in towns/cities reporting finds. The individuals do not work.

On the Walmart site it said "only 5 left" of Soundwave at two of the four stores in my area. Bolted out the door, only to get there & find empty shelves full of clearance stickers. I'm guessing they're in the store, but still in the stockroom, because they are still listed as in stock on the site. Frustrating, when you have no idea when they'll actually be put out, and with the stores as crowded as they are on weekends, wasn't going to waste my time bugging an employee.

 

According to Brickseek, the Walmart off Forest has them in stock.

 

Okay so I made it to the Abrams and Forest location here in Dallas, TX Brickseek shows that they have 6 in stock. I just spoke to a floor manager but he said they won't be unloading the truck until midnight tonight. So Chances Are by tomorrow morning they should be in stock SMH...

I’ll say this: I’m glad I was lucky enough to serendipitously happen upon an associate stocking this guy and the cassettes on Friday. I have no desire nor time anymore to keep checking back to see if they may or may not have hit the shelf. Also, this particular Wally World sold through all their stock of these by Friday afternoon. Which is kind of nuts, given the lower volume of collectors around here and how long the others reissues sat around. Good luck to everybody on the search.

 

My local Walmart (L.A. area) showed these in stock all of a sudden yesterday afternoon. Went in and they weren't out yet. This morning, the stock was listed as 3 down from 6. Went back in, still not on the shelf (was an employee digging into the stock?). I found a very helpful employee who hunted them down for me in the back. He said he got lucky as they weren't easy to find.

 

went for a drive today just to see what I could see and all I came home with was a $4 Gears, could have gotten a Swerve too, but didn't really care about him. no Soundswaves or cassettes on the shelves. brickseek is also showing the legion 4 pack as available around here but nothing on shelves, might be they are sending out another run of those as well.

Went to Walmart this afternoon and found Soundwave and all of the cassettes. The Hasbro boxes were still around and marked with a “7/28 Reset” sticker, so keep an eye out this week if you’re on the hunt!

 

My Wallies are still showing out of stock in the area. I wonder if Brickseek is accurate on it? I’ll be keeping an opener out haha

 

I am willing to place a bounty upon three each of the two cassettes with very near to perfect backers edging etc. Drop me a pm if your in the US & are interested. You don't need to do all six yourself. Just need to be able to ship them with utmost care. The legion 4 pack never hit the shelves to my knowledge in MA so I'm quite fearful on the cassettes as well.
