Well the biggest answer to your question is that its still to early in 2019 to see something from early 2020. As to the why there wasn't anything at sdcc its because Hasbro really wants to push unicron more than anything at sdcc its most likely because Hasbro os attending quite a number of conventions later this year if studio series was dead we wouldnt have gotten more store listings and if they cancelled the remaining constructicons It would piss off a good number of people. Finally when we might see something id bet on fan expo Canada near the end of August which is where we saw tge deluxe class figures for wave 5 last year
how is that crankcase crowbar name is bad but nobody ever hated skipjack rampage or demolishor scavenger?
If I’m understanding your question correctly, it’s because in the movies Scavenger/Demolishor and Rampage/Skipjack had the same bot modes, while Crowbar and Crankcase did not. Plus, Crankcase shares his cgi model with Berzerker, who received a toy in TLK, so them not using that version of the mold is absurd.
like elita one using rotf chromia instead of rotf arcee which was closer to her cgi, or the color and name swap for the human alliance versions...? seriously how is that only crankase got backlash? it was exactly the aame problem
Probably because the earlier movie lines weren’t as concerned with accuracy, while the whole “gimmick” of SS is accuracy and scale.
Are you asking why we’re not still mad about 10 year old toy inaccuracies? Also crankcase is just a repaint for the sake of a repaint when he should have been a third mold. It’s exactly the same as the Arcees as you mentioned but it’s a much more current issue (even though no one I know is talking about it anymore so I don’t know why you’re bringing it up again).
the rumor we got like a week ago was that takaratomy was going to reveal something on the summer wonder fest, which is tomorrow, unless it was implied it was the winter wonder fest, someone said they would most likely be RELEASED on january or so, but that was about the possible retail release not REVEAL...
Theres quite a few holes in this. First there was no rumor that said they would reveal something at this convention. Their wording is " will showcase the latest products in the studio series line " Latest meaning wave 7 which is not out yet As to the released in January thats based on the store listing and not a soild confirmation. More importantly Takara isnt going to do something they've not done yet which is revealing something Hasbro hasn't yet considering they are both keeping the same release / reveal schedule. So theres no garentee anything will be revealed until Hasbro shows it off first which most likely wolnt be till later this year
it makes sense bur then suddenly it was revealed the full king poseidon set, even if only a prototype... of course... generations select...
You know, I'm looking at that list of conventions. SDCC Hasn't been that exciting the past few years, but yet the others had better reveals. Thinking maybe it's worth while to look at going to next year's Fan Expo.
Easy partners, we know Arcee, Chromia, Elita-1, Mixmaster and Soundwave with Laserbeak are coming in January 2020 thanks to the listing revealed by Loopaza Mega Store So probably we will see the figures after the summer, probably at New York Comic Con or before if we are lucky
So we are waiting for the DOTM Leader Optimus, Mixmaster, Camaro BB, WWII Hot Rod, Soundwave, Arcee Elita chromic pack, and the rest of the Constructicons, yes?
I have dotm leader Optimus in my hand right now so we are not still waiting on that The rest seem to be releasing in early 2020.
