Will future MP releases now comes with pin instead of coin?

When I finally get back in this game I'm going to have a lot of coins / pins to track down.

 

The box on that pin sucks. I LOVE the creative, colorful packages of the coins...

 

....so is there any good source to get these pins? My MP-44 didn't COME with one (Japan). Hope this isn't a problem moving forward....

 

I'm not against the pins honestly.
Would totally prefer the coins though.
Also.... I know the topic is pretty old.... But regarding the Megatron pin; I don't know if the printing on the card had anything to do with its cancellation. Shadow Panther had a maximal logo printed on his, too.
I had really hoped a Cheetor reissue and Dinobot reissue would come with proper coins and such; but I'll hunt for the pins all the same.
Maybe this means Blackarachnia and Lio Convoy will have pins.

 

Taobao. Also. Ask around to retailers that get their stock from Hasbro Asia.

Weird. Wonder if they got their stock from Takara. Instead of Hasbro Asia? Usually the coins (and I suppose pins now too) come up from the China stuff.

 

It’s a fucking joke/travesty that MP-08X’s card is not colored. AND to top that nonsense off they made a ‘coin’ for it that wasn’t a ‘coin’.

I think I just found something more annoying than Red Bee not coming with a Battle Mask haha.

Hi gents and ladies, I have a small emergency. I need a pic of the MP-10R card. Mine is looking a bit suspicious, and while I'm positive the toy meets ALL the requirements to be considered authentic, I feel my box and card are not good enough to guarantee authenticity. If no one here knows perhaps you could point me to someone with help or knowledge on this subject. It would be appreciated immensely, as I paid aftermarket prices for this sucker.

Not a fan of these new pins so I will most likely not be getting those.

 

I like em, but they're gonna have to be easier to come by than the MP-44 pin, or else I'm out, too.

 

This one is going to be difficult to find extras of. I’ve been trying to get 2 each. One to keep in the packaging and one to put on my backpack. I could only secure 1 from a friend in Singapore. If you want it you’ll probably have to actually buy the reissued Soundwave from specific retailers.

 

I don’t know how I feel about these pins either but I have a completionist compulsion.

Deals on these can be found by scouring Taobao. I don’t care much for MP-13 reissue or MP-46 but their pins were being sold on TB for around $6 USD each. My prediction is that eventually more TB sellers will offload MP-13 pins individually because nobody is buying.
