This looks better, they actually made the eyes smaller and the faces older so they don't look like kids with adult bodies. Anime has problems expressing age but this is good effort.
What about Veemon and Wormon? Neither of them had Ultimate or Mega forms without DNA digievolution either. Really only Patamon and Gatomon were able to do that because they were also part of the original cast. The other four could not evolve past Campion level without DNA. At least not in the anime. I'm not entirely sure, you might know all of this already and it would explain why you asked about those two specifically. I'm going to explain anyway for anyone who might not know this already as a lot of people only know the Anime. You can then confirm or deny if the following is actually the reason you didn't ask about the others. I know Veemon at least does have another digivolution line that doesn't require DNA with Wormon for him to do. It's actually pretty awesome and I would love for those designs to make an appearance in the anime at some point. As it currently stands this alternate line does require his Champion level form to be Veedramon instead of ExVeemon though there isn't much of a difference between these two forms and I think the Anime could change it to still allow ExVeemon to change instead of introducing a new champion form that's barely any different from the existing one. The ultimate form would then be AeroVeedramon. The Mega form is called UlforceVeedramon. This does also have an alternate form but anyway UlforceVeedramon I think is a pretty cool design for a stand alone mega form. Stingmon also has an alternate line he could do without Veemon. This would mean the Ultimate form would be JewelBeemon. The mega form would them be GranKuwagamon. This has two alternate forms. MegaGranKuwagamon which honestly I'm not sure what the difference is with this form. The better one I think is GrandisKuwagamon which has some features similar to WarGreymon like the general body shape is very similar but this guy is more of an insect than a dragon. It should be noted that Veemon and Wormon also have an alternate DNA line together when they would turn into Dinobeemon instead of Palidramon. They're very similar digimon except Dinobeemon seems to have a more beast like stance as apposed to the upright humanoid posture of Palidramon. This could also become GranKuwagamon, Imperiladramon, or TigerVespamon. Oddly only Dinobeemon actually seems like an alternate DNA form of the two. Grandkuwagamon doesn't have any design elements to suggest it could even be related to Veemon and TigerVespamon really doesn't look like either of them. I do feel like Dinobeemon could be used in a similar fashion to SkullGreymon as it seems like it would be an uncontrollable dark version of Palidramon. As for the two you actually asked about... Hawkmon can also become Garudamon and Hououmon just like Biyomon could. Unfortunately this is the only alternate line that doesn't require Gatomon. Oddly I think this line works better as a Hawkmon evolution as they look more closely like Hawkmon than they do Biyomon but Biyomon already had that line first and it seems kinda boring to copy that same line for both the bird Digimon. This kinda makes it very unlikely that the Anime would ever do this as no one would be able to tell which one was originally Hawkmon and which one was originally Biyomon should they ever be on screen together. The other one doesn't appear to have any sort of pre-existing alternate line without Patamon... If by some chance this is not the reason then please explain. I personally go by the anime mainly... especially when this is a conversation about the anime specifically so not of these Digimon have Ultimate or Mega forms without DNA Digivolving. All of the above information comes from other sources that have nothing to do with the Anime but I would love to see those characters be able to do that in the Anime as well. Especially UlforceVeedramon because I really like that design. It's a shame he can't really digivolve past Champion level without Wormon. Don't get me wrong I like Imperialdramon in all his various forms but that's more like an Omnimon than a WarGreymon and I would love to see WarGreymon and UlforceVeedramon do something together that doesn't require their DNA forms.
Veemon have a alternate digievolution line like Vedramon and their ultimate and mega forms and for Wormon we already see he's ultimate form in Digimon Xros the Jewelbeemon.
I think that would of been a different Wormmon... though Ken did also appear in later episodes with his Wormmon... but I can't find any information of him ever evolving past Stingmon in that series.
What they've released so far is miles ahead of the teasers and trailers of tri. Instead of stills and shilling voice actors no one has any attachment to along with nuButter-Fly, this actually feels like a trailer. I especially love this version of Butter-Fly that starts a capella from Japanese movie 1. Now we wait to see if they learned anything from tri. which was a horrendous product with no effort, direction, or any idea what Digimon was or is about. The only potential negative so far is the idea that Digimon are separated after their partners grow up. Like Fairy Godparents? Along with numerous things in tri. this goes against the 02 epilogue where even as adults, the original crew still hang out with their Digimon. I appreciate them going for a tone similar to the best parts of tri. 3 (the only good one) because you're supposed to care about these characters. If you didn't, you wouldn't be here. Putting them in a situation that separates them isn't a bad way to go about it. I just hope the "why" makes sense and they aren't forcing a separation just to do it. And on that negative note, have two servings of awesome/what tri.'s promotions should've been.
