I would get this if 3A wasn't inflating their prices with diecast. Even if the prices on these haven't shot up a lot, I'm now a lot more cautious of what to buy with the split in Deluxe and Premium scales. And those premium figures sure took a hit when they added the diecast. Bee and Blitzwing are outrageously priced compared to the DOTM and TLK figures.

Yet another Prime from 3A - boring! Seriously that is about all this company does, Prime and Bumblbee over and over again. When are they going to start doing something different?

Thats not true, they also did a couple Megatrons and a Starscream, two very obscure and risky designs from the movies!

In all honesty though this is my biggest complaint. Even more than the recent price hikes. I'm so damn sick of Optimus Primes but there's going to be even more. Soon we'll have a Jetpower Prime. We might even get a Jetwing Prime on top of that. I wouldn't be surprised if we end up with a protoform Optimus at this point. The thing is, I would actually buy them all if they were sprinkled in between releases of other bots. But up until now it's only been the focus tested safety net of bots.

Prime - 5, 6 if you count the Premium scale BB movie and +3 for repaints = 9
    Bee - 4
    Megatron - 2
    Starscream - 1
    Blitzwing - 2
    Sqweeks - 1

I doubt we even would have gotten Blitzwing had he not been one of the most marketed bots for the movie. Same with Sqweeks. He was clearly supposed to attract the BB-8 audience but failed hard.

Thanks but I added those in the listing round up. It's ok to keep them on the boards.

Will people in the UK be able to preorder this from a website and have it shipped to them?

Looks pretty good but I bet a Magnus repaint would look better. That said, bring on more than just Optimus Primes. It's getting old. I want this and I might buy it, but I also hesitate purely to send a message to do other characters.

Spoke to 3A customer service and it turns out the only website we can preorder from will remain just HasbroPulse. Thank god I've got family in America. Just bought this bad boy. Now the wait...

Whilst I love optimus and own quite a few of 3A’s renditions; I have to agree. It’s getting very tiring always seeing Bumblebee and Optimus announced... even moreso when you hear certain Bots were cancelled like Barricade. Thing is it takes time to do what 3A does. By the time they are done with the main characters, a new movie is out and so a new license. Look at TLK. Megatron isn’t even out yet.

This was exactly my train of thought up until TF5 bombed and everything got shook up. It was pretty bad to see only the safe big name main 4 bots get versions for their DOTM license and then all we got for AOE was a remold of that same DOTM Prime. Then TF5 comes around and we only get the safe big names again, with the exception being Sqeeks. I bet he was forced by Hasbro due to their extreme push of that character and 3A probably would've picked someone else (or only the main 3).

Now it seems they have an overall license to do whoever they want from all 6 movies, so I'm a little more hopeful. There's only so many more versions of Optimus and Bumblebee and Megatron they can do before they have to focus more on the other bots. Although as you said, they're really squeezing every last drop they can get of those big names.

I actually threw my hat in for a pre-order on this guy- I like the look of the 3A DLX scale figures, but already have BB movie style Bee and Prime from the Studio Series, so I wasn't too keen on picking up much more expensive versions of the same(ish) designs/characters... but, as usual in TF-land... make it black... you got us.

Considering 3A is officially no more as of like 2 hours ago, we'll see how this stuff actually works out. 3A has a history of undelivered promises. Hence why it's dead now.

Althought it's officially Threezero taking the license from this point on, who have been leagues better.

    THREEA IS DEAD!

I think the transformers projects will just go over to ThreeZero.
