It's also the material strength. Other brands with notoriously tight and squeaky joints don't snap parts off with such frequency.

Got my Deathwish today and I broke both the pegs that connect the backpack to the top part of the chest the first time I transformed it back to vehicle mode by forgetting to unplug them before rotating the shoulders up.

While that breaking is definitely my fault, I didn't feel any resistance while moving the shoulders (I didn't even notice anything broke until I had to fold the whole assembly under the windshield. The plastic quality/material resistance of that part is completely wrong.

I also had issues with the side mirrors not staying in place (STOP making side mirrors removable, just mold them on the door already!) and I also had to shave some plastic from the inner claw of the mecanism connecting both parts of the body because it was impossible to separate them at first.

The robot mode is one of my favorite of the team but the overall engineering feels subpar compared to the other three I had no problem with.

Go for it. We'll be enjoying a combined Menasor before FT get to their third release.

It's really weird that the first and cheapest figure is the best built one.

My Deathwish arrived today from Showzstore. The outside took a beating but their rock solid packaging saved the day. I’ll open it up after work. So stoked! 4 down 1 to go!

Got mine from Netclow as well. Dragstrip didn't have the XTB seal stickers on the box, does that mean it's updated/corrected? I'm afraid to transform it!

No. Dragstrip didn't have them and wasn't wrapped in plastic.

For my deathwish I had two concerns. The waist wouldnt release so had to shave down the clips so it would. 2nd both of my bicep swivels are super tight. I had to support very firmly on both sides of the swivel just to barely move it. Decided wasnt worth the risk. Still love this team.

    Second batch from Netclow ...

Dragstrip didn’t seem “fixed” to me either... I SUPER CAREFULLY did the tman transformation on the hood and was nervous with the shoulders... thankfully he was ok so I didn’t have to email about 2 figures ;)

For the waist separation, when you shaved the clips, was much disassembly required, and how was it? Pretty simple or was there tiny springs popping out flying everywhere. Just curious, I need to do this to my figure as well.

Thanks. Darn, that means I have to be careful with my Deathwish as well.

Man just go to your bathroom sink and run some hot water over him and push the wheels on past it works like a charm

Did... did you just tell him that he should put Deadend next to Thundercracker right after he got done explaining that the reason Deadend isn't already there is because he broke the first time he tried to transform it?

What's going on with the plastic quality on these more recent figures? I get that not everybody is having problems but when my Overheat's front car section broke off, it didn't even put up much resistance. No snap, no flexing/stress, it just sheared right off. And when it happened, it felt exactly like the joint was moving. It wasn't until I turned him around that I saw it hadn't moved but had broken instead.

Also, when are replacement parts going to be available? I've already written in twice and both times I was told that they'd get back to me when collection was finished but it really feels like it should have been ready by now.

Cool. How much was your Gravestone?
I wasn't talking about Menasor. I am specifically talking about Motormaster. I asked @ibot about Gravestone.

I opened up my Deathwish. His waist was too tight to take apart. I opened up his hips. One screw. Easy peasy. Used a small nail file and went around the peg a bit. Fits a bit loose now but it will come apart and not break. Everything else looks good. No hip scratches. Been to bot and back a couple times.
