They have 3rd Party over at SDCC, but only licensed ones. FlameToys is 3rd Party Licensed. XTB is non-licensed.

 

Some ideas:

The judge can come with some or one sharkticon.

The prosecuter can come with a quint courtroom playset

The scientist can come with some or one alicon

The executioner can come with a sharkticon death pit

The bailiff can come with a jail cell.

 

XTB or someone may do all of those other figures but I doubt they come together. They are all likely to be MP scale and people may buy multiple for troop building on Sharks and Alicons. Playsets would be cool but I again doubt they go that far. Like everything else people are likely to have to create their own displays using available materials.

 

Yeah. I wouldn't want anything to up the price on these.
These armybuild characters are best kept at an affordable price.

 

We may see three packs of Sharkticons and Alicons though? Those guys are often sold in multi-packs and XTB have shown a willingness to do that with their Scourge.

Agreed. They could make more money through armybuilding if these are below or even around a hundred than if they make these very expensive.

Three-packs I can see happen with these guys.

 

A Quintesson shouldn't be anywhere near $100. There's just not enough to them. No transformation and the only articulation will be in the tentacles.

Were there any updates at the recent TFCon Toronto 2019?

 

The only company with any appreciable news and updates from the last con was MMC, so it seemed. They actually had quite a bit to reveal there. XTB were no-shows, IIRC. Not even in the slide show.

 

X transbots would be awesome if they did something original such as 3 judges; 3 sharkticons; or a scientist with an alicon; or a bailiff with a jail cell....( perhaps as cardboard image like toy hax....to make it affordable.)
Executioners death pit could be a simple plastic bucket that is painted up....(that should not cost much.... what could that charge to? 30 bucks?
The prosecuters court could be pure cardboard....around 20 bucks would be fair.

An extravagant expensive thing should be some kind of gigantic quintesson ship. A sharkticon or alicon would be small ....about the size of a fanstoys reflector....so maybe 3 for $130? Or so? That seems fair

Does the Quintesson transform? Thought only the Shark and Gator transformed. This should be a simple moulded figure with some articulation and light/sound gimmicks.
I’m assuming the delay is because XTB have a crap-ton of figures in their back-log. Almost as many as FansToys.
I would guess all their attention is on MotorMaster at the moment. After that there’s a load of other stuff, going as far back as Galvatron and Inferno. The non-transforming stuff like Egg and Spike should be quick and easy to produce and they could quickly fit them in anywhere but there’s no telling what their priority is.
