Considering the cost of the figures I'm waiting for, let them take their time coming while I payoff the balance on my cards (just drop cash on a Voltron that hits this month).

 

I'd like more figures in the impulse-buy range, for instance MMC style deluxes priced at around $60 a piece. Deluxe and Voyager class figures are my bread and butter, I only want a few to be much larger than that.

 

Agreed, NA is up to a mold and 3 redecos a month and MS hasn't dropped anything since there Nemsis

 

Lots of figures coming out and lots of old ones I haven’t gotten yet. For instance I finally bought a Hegemon and have Zinnia, Maverick, etc new figures coming too

 

Can't even keep up with the current rate....slower=better in my case.  

 

It's more about the rate of acquisition. When I started, I was dropping thousands at a time to catch up and keep up. I was getting figures by the boat load mwahaaaaaa I loved it. Now, I get 1 or 2 every once in a while as my collection gets completed. Some folks prefer a slow pace, some want it all and they want it now.

 

I want FT to speed up their release without sacrificing quality. If that means smaller runs, then I wouldn't mind preordering some of them ASAP.

 

ModuCase is an option. An expensive one, but an option.

 

...right now i'm getting figures faster than i can open and play with them: that's not a failure of my rate of acquisition, that's a failure of personal time and space as an available resource in my life...so, i'm satisfied, but not due to a tiny wallet nor angry partner, so i voted 'other'..

 

For me it depends on the company. FT, MT and Takara all need to pick up the pace. The rest seem have a decent stream of figures.

 

As long as things are available after release, and for a reasonable price, put out as much as you like as quickly as you like! lol

But we know that's not the case, sadly.

 

Personally there just isn't much I care about among 3p options these days.

That's it.

On average each day I can read about 5 3p threads I can hope to find anything I care about in this past year. It used to be different.

I don't collect legends and the BW legends I want to collect still haven't got a toy out.
I don't collect MP scale upsized movie toys ir original (even more detailed than the last one) MP scaled designs and I certainly don't want a hundred movie Prime's.
There are only a few G1 characters I want MP versions of. Right now everyone seems to be doing combiners (everyone seems to be doing the same combiners) and apart from a single First Aid I am not interested in buying MP combiners at all.
And anything else takes ages to get from reveal to release.

I was considering buying that Weij Jiang Computron, but on the other hand I don't really want that.
What I would like from WJ are slightly upsized Siege figures without battle damage.
I don't want to pay money for a toy that looks good but I don't really want.
And then Black Mamba is doing upsized siege but they're just doing deluxe to voyager and voyager to leader again  

So this forum has become very boring to me.
Nobody seems interested in doing chug.
Nobody wants to upsize legends scaled figures to chug size.
Legends BW isn't exactly booming.
Nobody is doing Pretenders or seems to be serious about Quintessons.
All the third party Unicrons are fake or will probably be even bigger than Hasbro's.
Everyone who's doing G1 MP just wants to do the same thing everyone else is doing.

 

 

Well one way to look at it is: more figures released means a higher chance that one will appeal? If only 1 in 10 releases meets your standards, then better to see ten releases a year instead of only one!!
