Here's something from waaay back in the day. This is just me trying to understand how the UPC system worked in this case.

The 2007 Movie line included a Sam's Club exclusive three-pack featuring Voyager Starscream (unchanged from the single release), Deluxe Arcee and Voyager Optimus Prime, the latter two both with additional "battle damage" paint operations exclusive to this set. Well, not completely exclusive: Both figures were also available as standalone releases in Hasbro's Asian markets. Arcee came in a mostly unchanged version of her original release's packaging (only featuring an additional "Exclusive! Battle damage!" sticker and a changed name insert featuring a different UPC barcode), whereas Optimus Prime came in the same special packaging format as the Best Buy exclusive "Premium Series" redecos of Voyager Ratchet and Megatron. (A single specimen of Arcee was also found at a US Walmart store.)

The odd thing about this is that the standalone releases of Arcee and Optimus Prime apparently had the same UPC barcode, 653569327646.

How does this even work? How can these two figures, available in completely different packaging and retailing for different prices, have the same UPC barcode?

Between Kidtoy and BBCW, I'm finding a ot of alternate UPCs for many Cyberverse figures. Many of those are already confirmed to get "Power of the Spark"-branded packaging variants, so I would assume Hasbro is breaking from tradition here and giving all the new packaging versions different UPCs than the original ones.

The silver Battlemaster is definitely Singe?

 

Well, John Warden could be wrong about it. But right now I'm taking his word for it.

Also, I would assume based on the existence of two different UPCs for Cyberverse 1-Step Bumblebee and Hot Rod, as well as Ultra Class Optimus Prime and Slipstream, that they will also get "Power of the Spark" packaging variants in a later wave.
