Amazon Japan's lowest price was 33,000 something Yen. About 9,000 cheaper than the current price.
For pre-ordering this late in the game, Nippon Yasan's price can't be beat. Think they require up-front payment, though.

 

When you're referring to Hot Rod do you mean MP-28? Because I wouldn't put him in the same class as MPs like Shockwave, Megatron, Inferno, Sunstreaker, or MP-44. He's good on articulation, but he doesn't nail the cartoon character as well as more recent releases, he doesn't have many extras (no swappable faces).
I don't think MP-44 is less photogenic than MP-10, we just haven't had people take photos of him who really know how to pose and shoot. That'll change soon enough  

 

Yes, MP-28. And I actually love the figure in person, I count him in the same class. But I agree MP-44 needs some professional posing!

Tempted to preorder since if this is rereleased next year, I have a feeling it won't have some of the extras MP-44 does

Actually I believe the Asian release of MP-10 has some extra stuff that the Takara versions never have .....

Yeah I think it's a distinct possibility. Excitement is definitely building the closer we get to release date. I imagine when the 1st review pops up this thread will explode. Lol

I'm actually becoming rather comfortable using the ignore feature these days. I honestly hated the idea of closing my ears to some people in my fandom, but after a while I simply don't have time for so much negativity. There is literally (literally) no reason I need to hear every human's opinion on this site about the topic at hand.

Man Wonderfest is going to be LIT! We will see more Lio Convoy for sure. Then preorders will go up August 2nd. I'm also hoping for a quick repaint reveal or two, and 2 more reveals at the show for late 2020 release.

Also not MP, but the Diaclone TriDriller will be shown off too. And that bot looks amazing! They actually figured out how to make the shoulder Drills transform to Drill hands without Parts-forming. I think an MP designer helped out there.

 

On the brink of pulling the trigger on Nippon Yasan, but I’ve gotta ask, what shipping should I go for? Cause I’m definitely not paying $200 for it.
