Fair enough :)  sucks you can’t make it happen but it’s perfectly appropriate to have priorities in line
There is an authorization charge of the full amount when you place your order to make sure the card is legit, after a day or two it goes away and then 8/31 is when it will actually charge

They said no electronics, which makes sense cause lights and sounds just take up space essentially.

I am genuinely sorry to hear this. I've been there before, so I've seen both sides of the street. I truly do hope things get better for the both of you, not just for something like this, but in general.

It's scary not knowing and being blindsided like this. Sometimes the toy is the coping mechanism.

I really do hope things get better. :(

the whole discussion about the price thing is like beating a dead horse at this point. it is what it is. look at the damn thing. i'm surprised it's as low as it is considering the MP line and its retail pricing....this thing is big, its as accurate as it can get to his appearance in the movie and it looks damn good. i get it, not everyone can afford it and its a shame people that want it cant get it. but really, the discussion about the price is not going to change anything because like i said, look at the mp line for example...collectable figures are going to be at a high cost and it's no surprise this is for some. i am still surprised its only at what its at considering everything about it.

So doing the math for how many people are backing per day.
It's been around 8 days or so & at 1873 backers.
I divided it and got around 235 or so backers per day.
Though I'm gonna go with 200 per day since that seems a bit more on target.
    It'll reach 8,000 by...August 25th it seems.
So there's a very small margin that it might not get backed. *shrug*

Nah. Titan Class was $200. Even at $600 it's really pushing the envelope.

Now at Smoothie King: horse smoothies! :p

Where do you get your prices? No titan has been $200 retail. Unless you’re in Canada?

you're absolutely right; just don't like to see the discussion get heated all the time because of the price point. there's no reason to.

    Jesus man,

    I’m so sorry about this.

    Family is first, always.

I feel extremely lucky that this is not doing any damage to me but on the same token, shit can get hard on people because I’ve been there.

I sure hope stuff gets figured out for ya. But family first my man.

Is there any info you want provided?
There's a couple good videos and such with interviews along with a Gamespot interview asking a lot more questions.

In that case, here's an early prototype to show its size compared to the biggest Titan so far; Fort Max.[IMG]

It's more of an average. Some were $275 (Takara Metroplex reissue at BBTS), some $150+tax (retail), some clearanced at $50+tax (Ollie's, which many of us don't have nearby, or at least didn't at the time). Even $575 is more like $625 for most of us, after taxes.

When quoting prices you should go by the actual msrp, taxes vary and a discounted price isn’t an accurate depiction of its retail msrp. Titans released by hasbro have been $150-$160, titans released by Takara have had higher prices but their prices are always higher than hasbro.

MSRP is how you compare prices though. :-/
A good example is buying a car, you can either have a good lower than MSRP deal or get screwed over with a higher than MSRP deal.
