    So they say.

And in response to Mr. Grumpy pants above, given how many "impossible" transformations the 3rd partys have figured out (Hasbro less so although they've pulled off a couple as well), I wouldn't put it past them to actually pull off one of the triple changers successfully (although I guarantee the transformation would be absolutely miserable).

Every comment on this board except for a new figure being unveiled or a new sighting.

    why so salty? :lol
This strategy clearly is made so that Hasbro has multiple versions in different forms of one character. Its to sell more movie toys.......

I think this is Afterburner's whole point--he's saying they should have made the CGI bots in the movies be simpler so they could make toys of them easier. I'm thinking this is what he thinks they should be like:

The blocky aesthetic doesn't look good in live action. Besides. What's the excuse for why toys didn't look like the animation in the 80s....go on, I'll wait.

There's no excuse. All of those early toys came well before the animation because they were preexisting toyines.i would say what we got even in 07 had a greater passing resemblance to what was on screen than what I would expect.

Looks fun! Small, unfortunately, but solid. Don’t need, but I’m sure it will make other collectors happy. :)

I owned the figure for a day and returned it. The gun wouldn't stay together, the head was glued in place, the legs were loose and the side engines popped off in the package. The rotor not actually spinning was just icing on the cake.
I would dare call it the movie-toy version of Airachnid.

Invoking Airachnid! Damning indeed. I've only had a problem with loose legs. Hopefully the car version is more pleasing across the board (unintentional pun). I know I hope jet Shatter is better than car Shatter, because that figure is the worst SS by a mile for me.

BB Movie was really a mixing of the 2 styles. None of them were entirely blocky.

Yeah know, this will probably be good. I have the dropkick, his robot mode is TRASH but the helicopter was greats. this seems to fix some robot mode issues.

    Huh.

I have no real affection for Movie Drift (he\'s kind of an embarrasing throwback of a character, tbh) but that helicopter mode is strangely compelling.
