Would anyone be willing to give a try for leg covers for this guy? The more i look at them the more they bother me. I imagine it wouldn't be too hard since the surface of the inner leg seems fully flat
The multi colored panels look like they fallen off his left shin. In the early pictures they're present. In the shot next to prime, they've presumably fallen off. Am I to purchase a bit of glue along with Superator?
Where are you looking, I see the color panels on both legs clearly. *Edit - nevermind, saw the photo you're referring too. That's unfortunate-hopefully an easy fix.
they haven't "fallen off", the way the light is hitting them they have been washed out, they are still there.
Looks fantastic. So it looks like here is some ankle articulation, but only outwards. I think inwards would have been more useful... Still, an amazing figure.
I'm leaning against getting this guy. He's more of a lateral to Reximus, not better and not worse. Seeing the dino arms fall apart in the video is disappointing and the lack of a light up blaster is too. He looks beautiful but he's primitive compared to the other offerings.
would love to see them put a perch on the back of the throne for Swoop to set on, just my goofy idea. the dino arms coming apart is an annoyance but not a deal breaker, and the light up stuff doesn't do much for me. I'm more likely to forget the batteries are in there and have them corrode and ruin the toy. saying this guy is no better than a OS KO is belittling of the engineering used on this figure.
yup. same here. i never use any of the light up features of my figure for fear of the same reason. but it does seems odd that gp omit this feature where other gigasaurs have it (except swoop where he's using rocket launcher) comparing to reximus, i can fully understand when people are also taking the price point into consideration. for its price, it is a good buy. but yeah to say superator is no better than reximus is a bit too much. i have mp08 and i like it very much for its time. but seriously comparing it to superator.... the paint, joint, details... of course i'm not saying superator is perfect and superior. my biggest gripe is still his lack of inward ankle movement. hope gp will fix this for the metallic version
does any company offer a symbol plate to put on his symbol slot? a film symbol seems not that good here. Also GP swoop reserves a place for symbol on his beak. it appears like something you can mouth on with those 3 slots. does anyone know any company would make it? I check toyhax, there is nothing like that. TF-direct used to sell mpp-10's symbol together with it. but I don't see anything for GP dinobots. thanks for any info.
He hasn't even hit the market yet in good numbers. That is a good idea though. Nothing has been made solely for the Gigasaurs though.
I know it’s the same character... But It’s hard to see major differences from the Takara version aside from size. The gripe I have with the Takara version is the skinny thighs, which this one has too, may be a limitation of his transformation but even mp primes thighs are thicker than superator’s.
Reximus is a floppy mess while the ratchets on Superator look solid as rocks, Reximus lacks the detailing and paint this guy has, and the gold color on Reximus is dull by comparison to the deep yellow chrome of the Gigasaurs. To each their own, but to my eyes this is a huge leap forward.
I actually agree with you. But I also see hip skirts that limit leg movements (something that even the old MP Grimlock doesn't have). No inward ankle tilt (present on the others). Also the lack of a symbol hiding mechanism for his bot chest bothers me. I have both the comic and regular Reximus so I can use the comic's brighter gold on the regular. In the end I still might get this guy but for now he's a pass.
