It's still a great set. For me there's more than enough difference between each limb bot to keep the transformations entertaining.

BTW if you're looking for extra stands, BBTS has two of the three colors (blue and green) on deep discount.

 

As of today, It's one of the best combiner of his kind. A great fun set. To me Trinity Force is equally as good for being just a team of 3 bots. By the way, I am still waiting for my all black version...  

 

I definitely do not have the head upgrade kit. Anyone have it and not using it?

 

What does your Ironshell's combiner neck look like? Maybe you have a 2nd-batch one that has it already installed?

 

I know I have the first run. The neck does not move forward.

I believe some members here who got the neck-mod-parts, didn't do it, thinking it was too risky/not worth the effort. That may be your best bet to get the parts. TFC doesn't seem all that responsive to part-requests in my experience.

 

No, that isn’t their thing. I guess I will just make a post asking for one once a week and see what happens.

Always happy to see other people who painted their Snaptrap and Nautilator heads.  

 

I'm doing the eyes for the others too... All the beast mode eyes are also getting gloss yellow eyes...Sailor and Overbite are getting red eyes for the robot mode eyes, and Tentakil will receive light green eyes for his robot mode...

Decided to give a darker grey to Seawings face and have color matched the crown of Nautilators beast mode head and painting all the animal eyes gloss yellow.

Man, I keep thinking about doing those types of custom paint jobs to mine, especially the heads of Snaptrap and Nautilator. Nice work! Please keep sharing pics of your changes!

 

Not bad at all, great work, but I prefer the original Ironshell's green head.

Edit: or maybe a black head with green / pink accents

 

I tried to keep the lightpiping for bot mode eyes----worked well for yellow and red, but just couldn't get a nice clear light green for Tentakil, so went with opaque metallic green.

Considered an accent color for SeaWing's head many times, but never did anything. Like how yours is though, might give it more consideration.
