haha... I thought you meant the 'original version' of this actual mold. It still feels different enough from the Technobots/Computron that I don't associate them so much.

If they went full Computron on the deco, that might be different. But also I just find the blue and red decos are sort of... dull.

I ALSO would like to know what scale this is going to be. We've seen promo images, but I don't think we've seen any size comparison images yet.

Each of the robot is around 18 cm, so usual wei jiang voyager size, while the combine mode is 31 cm, which is just a teeny bit taller tan CW combiners.

 

may i ask exactly how tall he is in bot mode and his length in alt mode?

Am I missing something or there is a difference between these and the KOs that were released a longtime ago?

 

So, like... 7 inches each. 5 Voyagers come together to make a skinny combiner that's barely larger than CW combiners? That seems odd.

(or is that counting the upgrade feet on the CW molds?)

In any case, Voyager is a good size for these. I hope...

• they're still cheap like other WJ items, even though they're original molds
• they can be purchased separately
• they do more colour variations

Yea, i find the size of the combine mode to be odd, but maybe once there's a review showing how they combine, it will make more sense.

As for the price, i am expecting them to be on the same range as their fire king, which is around 15$ to 18$ each.

And yes, you can purchase them separately. In fact, the packaging pics that they show is individual boxes, not 5 pack boxset.

I was asking if these are a newer release of the mp10B and mp10 Shattered glass KOs or if they are the old releases.

 

All their current posts on FB and stuff are about movie toys.

I msg'd whoever runs it several times and basically they will only comment on things already out / announced and what is releasing next month etc, and not anything else.

 

First link you posted is the old MFT KO's.

Good overall quality and most of the folks here in this thread own some of them (or all of them).

There are still tons on them on ali for next to nothing in individual sale, or some sellers have them in combo / a bunch of them.

You can see some of them in this here outdated chart thingy. The early stuff was KO's of hasbro things, later stuff is KO's of 3P stuff all in legends-ish scale (as in slighter larger but still basically legends as in smaller than deluxe). Powerglide is my favorite as he fits better in chug.




You can see my Powerglide on left side of this photo. Bought a few other ones in same line and they were all pretty decent.

Second link you posted is KO's of KO's for dollar stores etc and usual rubbish quality imo.

Yeah they are Mech Fans Toys / Machine Boy recolours, time has somewhat moved on with these but they are fun enough considering you can get them very cheaply if you look around. there is the older wave as well that has red Powerglide, Optimus, Megatron etc.. those are very cheap too - there is also more expensive and harder to get middle wave that includes Warpath, Blackjack, Huffer, Cliffjumper, Nemesis Prime, Thundercracker & Skywarp.

As for the newest ones - they are perfectly OK quality just like any other MFT release.
Some might find Them useful. I'd rather like a few more myself - especially that IDW like version of Acid Storm and perhaps a white Optimus too.

I actually own all of these 12  . I find the second "set" hilarious - green Warpath, blue Powerglide (or Viper with Powerglide's face) and that Galvatron and Cyclonus in completely wrong colors. I've seen some of these from the chart batfan007 posted (actually, I got that Sharktticons set - 2x 26 + 1x 26-2), but these aren't as cheap as these twelve (I own Overlordnb and WJ Nuclear Warrior which is KO of DX9 Hulkie, but I don't think it counts).
I didn't know these were MFT, when I saw price, I thought these are from someone else, thanks for clarification.
