So, I decided to make my own chest plate, it can be splitted into two separated pieces to be used in robot, spaceship and torret modes. It was made with building blocks with some adjustments.

Couldn't you two swap one foot each and solve the problem?

Wow never expected a reissue considering what’s happened with warbotron turning into 11 different companies

That’s amazing. While this set certainly has its faults, this is the de-facto Computron for now.

Uh. I still need a Computron, but this won't scale with any of my combiners...

Looking back I'm glad I skipped this set. The aesthetics aren't as accurate as I'd like. I'll wait for XTB, DX9, or FT to tackle Computron.

I only have 3 of this team: afterburner, lightspeed, and strafe. I’ll be selling them in order to buy the full giftset. They are basically new - never been transformed, just sitting on a shelf, with all parts and boxes. I was thinking $120 plus shipping. Please pm me if anyone is interested. Thanks.

    That is interesting news.

There was talk at one time that Jin Bao were thinking about doing an Overscale too.

This set has a lot of QC issues and I hope Warbo would address them with the reissues.
I had to get another Scattershot (thankfully for cheap) as a donor to swap incorrect parts installed on mine - the donor one also had other incorrectly installed bits... this primarily with the white thighs.
Prior to this, the combiner feet didn't come with the metal posts so I couldn't get it combined.
It was a pain to get the parts in (approximately 3-4 months+++ and having to pay for extra shipping from Asia).
Nosecone also had very brittle plastic for the tank treads which broke on transformation.
Most of the issues appear to be based on factory workers not giving a damn about installing the right parts to the figure.
Loads of complaints from the Asian seller I bought from so just be aware that you've gotta check on these when you get em.

I actually quite like this set, they are a stand-in for MP (I know, they aren't even close to the proper aesthetic or scale, but whatcha gonna do?) BUT when a better option comes along, these guys go great with larger CHUGs like Siege, IMHO.

Any way FINALLY finished painting up my Shapeways parts!

    After

I've started work on a larger headsculpt...more details soon.

Depends on what MP is to the collector. This figure is fine for an MP collection in regard to looks. The biggest flaw for me had to do with the hindered articulation of the component bots.
