Retro Con will be returning in September to the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA! Show features include a 54,000 square foot show floor with over 200 tables of toys and collectibles for sale, plus special guests, tv/movie cars, video games, contests, panels, raffles, and much more!

We're winding down on table sales for 2019 (artist spots are maxed out), but we have a limited amount of toy and collectible tables left for sale.

This concert is happening in conjunction with Retro Con 2019 (Official), with separate ticketing for both events.

Cybertronic Spree Concert Tickets Now Available!

A reminder that you DO NOT have to Preregister for (or attend) Retro Con 2019 itself to purchase tickets to the concert. But your best time to hang out with the band and purchase band-related merchandise is come to Retro Con that Saturday! They will be on the convention floor from about 10am to 1pm. After that they have to recharge for their 8 o'clock performance!​

We welcome David Kaye to our guest list for Retro Con 2019!







An award-winning actor with nearly 30 years of experience in movies and television, David is best known for voicing devious Predacon leader ‘Megatron’ on the fan-acclaimed Transformers series Beast Wars! He played the tyrannical T-Rex (and later dragon) through three seasons of the popular show, as well as its follow-up series Beast Machines, and would go on to voice a different Megatron through the mid-2000s Unicron Trilogy.

He had the chance to play the hero as well! He voiced Autobot leader Optimus Prime in the late 2000’s Transformers Animated series. The show was extremely popular with fans at the time of release and is still held in high regard today. He also voiced Grimlock, Lugnut and Cliffjumper on the show.

David is also the voice of brainy robot Clank in the long-going Ratchet & Clank video game series! And for anime fans, he is the english dub actor of Sesshomaru from the early 2000’s anime InuYasha, as well as family patriarch Soun Tendo on the classic anime Ranma 1/2!

Other notable roles of David’s include General Hawk on DiC’s GI Joe, Professor X on X-Men Evolution, Draconis on Exosquad, Recoome on Dragon Ball Z, the Narrator on Kingdom Hearts III, and is the current announcer on ‘Last Week Tonight with John Oliver’! He can be seen in live-action media as well, such as Battlestar Galactica (2004), Happy Gilmore, Sliders and X-Files!

We're less than two months out!

Recently added to our guest list is Robbie Rist, who voiced Michaelangelo in the 90's TMNT movies. He also did voice work on the 2016 Transformers: Robots in Disguise series as Tricerashot and Swelter.

Also added just today is artist Mark Watts!



Mark is responsible for some of the iconic artwork used in the G1 Transformers toy line! He did over 45 commissioned paintings for Hasbro between the mid 80’s and early 90’s, most of which were used directly for the packaging of the product.

Notable packaging illustrations he created include Shockwave, Jetfire, the Constructicons, the Stunticons, and all of the series one Minibots! He also did several paintings used for pack-in mail-away offers for the Transformers line, such as Reflector, the “Time Warrior” Autobot watch, and the Omnibots.

Check out Mark's booth in the guest section where he'll be displaying his artwork and offering prints for sale! He had a great time meeting attendees last year. He loved hearing stories of how some would cut his artwork out of the toy packaging as kids and tape it to the walls of their room.​

Tomorrow's the big day for the convention to start.   Looking forward to tomorrow.

 

If anyone wants them, gonna have a MIB complete MP Bumblebee and Shockwave with me tomorrow for $50 and $85 respectively if anyone sees this before/during the con. PM me and we can meet up!

 

If anyone here plays the Transformers TCG, I'm gonna have my deck with me tomorrow to hopefully find some games after 2pm or so before the concert.

 

This was my first Retrocon and I had a blast! Kudos to everyone involved and already looking forward to next year.
