Okay now that it's been like over a year I think I'll finally explain my stupid joke-
It's just a rephrasing of an episode of Markiplier's let's play of The Last of Us because I like that episode title.

Inspired by how the Autotroopers have kind of been reintroduced as Autobot foot soldiers or a police force.

A much more SFW (but only slightly) iteration of the disturbing "Legion" creatures from Kiss Players: inspired by the type of parasitic Isopods this 'Legion" is a parasite that seems to only effect Cybes. An organic fleshy life-form that gets into their body through open wounds or other areas of entry, slowly thriving off of various internal fluids and eventually making a home within the mouth area of effected bots.

It may take a long time for symptoms to show, because it takes time for them to fully mature, but once they do... They behave more like savage animals than people. Excessive drooling, a long and highly infectious fleshy proboscis that furls up within their mouths. Sort of like Cybertronian rabies? Except with a creepy alien parasite involved. Certain Decepticons have opted to using the infected as a form of specialized soldier, even going so far as to weaponize the parasite itself. This was also partially inspired by the zombies from TF: Prime.

Nicely done, I like your spin on Legion. But... "Cybes"?

It was a shorthand used by the Quintessons in Eugenesis to describe Cybertronians, I could've swore it was used in IDW at some point?

Ok, this sounds stupid, but I like to think that Cy-kill was a gladiator and rival to megatron, and was killed shortly after megatron was upgraded with the ability of flight.

Arcee and Hot Rod are destined to be the next Elita-1 and Optimus Respectively. Similar enough color schemes, both are primary characters throughout the movie and third season...

In my headcanon, Siege Cog and Brunt are the generic grunt drone units of their respective faction, mass produced to fight their enemies with the most basic design possible; Explaining why they're parts-formers. Since they're parts-formers, the Cog and Brunt units have built-in Weaponizer feature, where their modules can detached and equipped on their more powerful allies.

Not only that, Siege Sixgun is the original super prototype of these eventual mass-produced Weaponizer grunt units, kinda like the original RX-78-2 Gundam which is used as the base for the mass-produced RGM-79 GM mobile suit; Sixgun has the ability of detaches his modules to fly around and attack his opponent from many directions at once with beam attacks as well as the Weaponizer feature; The ability of Sixgun's self-propelled attack drone modules is too costly to mass-produce, thus the Cog and Brunt units was only equipped with the Weaponizer feature.

Alternate take on this: The Brunts were designed by Megatron with the idea of being 'weapon seeders'. Sent out first in great waves they would thin Autobot ranks but be destroyed easily, making the Autobots advance. But then, when actual Decepticon warriors rushed out into the battle they would shock Autobots by grabbing a fallen piece of a brunt and, with just a few correct commands typed in, become heavy artillery. It would only be then that the Autobots would realize that destroying the brunts had seeded the battlefield with deadly weapons for their foes. Decepticon generals could create weapon platforms and weapons within seconds and trap the Autobots in a kill box.

Autobot scientists managed to capture a Brunt and reverse engineer this Weaponizer process and, when combined with the Magnus Armor Technology, create the Cog Drones. These drones could do what the Brunts could but were also designed to quickly fly apart and form armor for Autobots.

We might also say that Cog, Brunt, and Six Gun units are produced in Fortress Maximus, Trypticon, and Metroplex respectively, hence the G1 associations with them.

    That would work.

In a non-use of your theory I see Cog, Sixgun, and Brunt are secretly Fort, Metro, and Tryp. They know they are far too big to interact with their sides and thus they merely wirelessly control these 'drones' as their avatars. For the autobots so they can have a life outside of being the cities... for Tryp it is to spy on Megatron.

That sounds pretty awesome! Especially the Trypticon bit, now that's scary.

Inspired by FOC and how Megatron was so quick to betray him. I could see Trypticon learning of a similar idea in another continuity and creating Brunt to spy on the Decepticons to ensure they never betrayed him. Maybe have Brunt try and stir up a rebellion against Tryp himself.

Maybe this belongs in a more Seige-specific thread BUT

The Weaponizer characters are fully mechanical automatons developed as weapons, not made with sentience in mind, just as robots that seperate into weapons but can recombine into a single soldier when needed. Cog is the first - much more of a classic "robot" design, with variable artificial intelligence akin to the robots from Interstellar - his goal is to get his mission done and he uses math and cold hard logic to do it. Sixgun is the next model up, with more personality, and maybe even the budding start of true sentience? And Brunt is a twisted experiment of Shockwaves based on stolen Autobot Weaponizer tech, so he IS sentient - but angry, dimwitted, and created not wanting to exist but being given sentience anyway.

    I base this on nothing.

I want Sky Lynx to sound like Kingseeker Frampt from Dark Souls. :lolol

I couldn't find a more appropriate thread for posting that, but I suppose voices you have in mind for certain characters still count as headcanon?

My head cannon for the three Weaponizers...

Brunt - Brunt is a mindless brute, a drone designed to protect Trypticon which is Megatron's latest invention brought to life by Shockwave & the Constructicons. While Full-Tilt is the commander aboard Trypticon, Brunt reports to Full-Tilt and does as he is told to help Trypticon win in battle against his eternal rival Metroplex.

Cog - Unlike Brunt, the Autobot Weaponizers are sentient beings created when the Autobots found Shockwave's blueprints for the Duocons/Brunt and reverse engineered. Cog is loyal to Cerebros and Cerebros alone, whether acting as armor for him, as additional weaponry for Fort Max, or acting as ambassador for the Headmaster during Autobot meetings and he is unable to attend.

Sixgun - Unlike both Cog & Brunt, Sixgun is the acting commander aboard Metroplex aka Autobot City. Able to split apart and act as armor for any Autobot serving Autobot City such as Blaster, Pipes, etc. or as additional weaponry for Metroplex when things get heated. While he commands over the scout Scamper and the defense tank Slammer, he treats them more as equals.
