Probably Masterpiece scale and aesthetic, a lot of red and blue..

Cheaper than 320 dollars.

 

Why, what could they possibly bring to the table with 3 other versions but limited head articulation.

Probably great looking, but with a transformation that causes it to slowly tear itself apart over time.

 

In order for this version to be the best Optimus, it would need to have no visible bot parts. The undercarriage would need to have detailed panels to cover everything. They could have a truck interior and a matrix chamber; though, for the bot and truck mode to both be nigh on perfect, nothing can be put to waste. That means that transformation schemes of the past are garbage. The flanks (side abdominals) cannot just be hidden, they need to be made up of panels; the tires have to be like those of MP-47 and fold; the hands should have to be fattened if needed; the spacing between each panel should be nearly gone, which requires that Fans Toys use paint akind to that of the paint used be Takara on MP-41. If we want a seemless Optimus Prime, magnets may be needed, which would raise the price. The perfect Optimus from Fans Toys should require us to atleast pay $250 for the base figure alone.

 

Why is Fanstoys not doing this? Seriously

 

Why would they?

 

Because Fanstoys are excellent. I want to see their take on Prime. Megatron too.

 

A really good alt-mode back half. Ditch gimmicky Takara-esque features, and it should be doable.

 

I feel like there are enough options for an MP Prime. Now if they wanted to give us a better option for a Powermaster Prime, that would be more interesting. Or if they gave us a better Rodimus Prime.....

I see you know of the Illuminati, interesting.

 

Take TE-01, replace some of the torso with more diecast, cover it in paint, and make the transformation a total bitch, and that's Fans Toys.

Oh, and the first release will have silver on the thighs and pelvis, and a stripe on the cab. Everyone will buy it, because Fans Toys, even as a vocal subset bemoans that the colors aren't as cartoony as they like. A year later FT will release a second version with pearlescent white instead of silver and no cab stripe.

 

Read my earlier post; Fans Toys may not be perfect, but they do make the best Transformers, and they understand that if they are going to make Optimus and Megatron, they have to pull out all the stops.

 

They don't make the best, Hoodlum is a complete POS.

 

Heavy, bit too big for MP scale, nice paint but watch out for chipping, good aesthetics in both modes, terrible transformation with lots of parts moving and folding around attached to metal rods and possible clearance issues, reasonable price, acceptable articulation.
