Looking it up, it was Superman/Batman Apocalypse that I must've been thinking of, since I recalled that really good fight sequence with her and Wonder Woman vs the furies. Even so, I thought she had been part of the Justice League as a background character during the season 1 finale, but clearly that wasn't the case. I must've conflated the two.

 

Well, this episode was intense/dramatic.

 

I'm sorry, but this season started out strong but now it's gotten way too jokey and unnatural in it's dialogue and storytelling. Not only that, but the lingering sense of threat and dread I got from the antagonists through out most of the show...is now gone

Especially after Psimon got kicked in the nards by a teenage girl, incapacitating him, and Klarion went out like a chump in today's episode.

Calling it now, I think The Light is gonna be taken out by the end of the season.

 

I don’t feel that way at all. The Light is patient, they have something planned, just hasn’t revealed itself yet. Plus, they’re practically running the show on Earth now!

Klarion is practically a man-child he’s been beaten in every appearance he’s made on the show, same for Psimon.

I actually have a sinking feeling that something bad is going to happen at the end of this season.

 

I believe it’s pretty clear that this latest episode introduced us this universes version of Dolphin.

 

I actually chuckled out loud at the end credits. "Dang it!"

Young Justice Season 4 Is Already in Production

 

According to Weisman,

"More is coming from Apokolips. We've got a real slow burn on Apokolips, but it builds every season. We've had a couple seasons in a row that have been epicly plot-focused, but I think we're pushing back to a little more of a character focus in Season 4. There will be new characters - I won't say who - but we're going to focus in more on a smaller cast."

 

LOL if they keep pushing back Apokolips for the 'slow burn' and the show gets cancelled before they get to it. Maybe they should put it into Season 4. IF there is another season, new threat.

 

You don’t get any bigger then Darkseid, unless you bring in the Multiverse. I remember Weisman stating way back that they already had plans for season 5.

I wonder how long the Batman is setting up the Outsiders to look good will last though.

 

I keep saying, something’s going to give and everything’s going to go to shit at the end of this season.

1 minute before end of episode: oh no batman what is you doing

 

Batman.

Batman no.

Things are not going to end well for this. Not in a setting that, thus far, prides itself on the villains being ten steps ahead of everyone else, no matter what the heroes do. They obviously learned from being outwitted at the end of Invasion and stepped up their own game. Even Batman can't plan his way out of the hole that's being dug here.

 

It also occurs to me we haven't seen Conner or Dick in a while. I wonder if they haven't been active or if they're doing their own thing we don't know about yet.
