Wouldn't absolutely need to. Aside from language, violence, blood, and gore can pass in PG-13 these days. Heck, TV can be worse.
I disagree. I think PG-13 has been pretty watered down in recent years. Strangely TV gets away with a lot more. Agents of Shield can have some pretty graphic deaths even though it’s rated TV-14
Well, I didn't say it would, I said it could. Those content pieces have been in PG-13 films before, I was just pointing out it's an option, not actually what will happen.
Lol you say that like he isn't already there. His name alone makes me interested. He's fantastic. The first season of Luke Cage suffered immensely with Cottonmouth's death.
Del Toro didn't direct the first one - just the second. I agree with the overall sentiment, though. I'm sure this will be... fine. Ali is a great actor, I don't expect an R rating - because obvious "it's Marvel" reasons - and I'm sure they'll figure out a way to pull it off in PG land. How/if it connects to the rest of the MCU is the big question since, well, vampires n' shit.
I said I was done after Endgame but they have my attention now. I doubt this will be rated R but I hope it isn't super watered down.
So this means vampires are coming to the MCU. Of course, in the Marvel comics Blade recently joined the Avengers. And he aided in dealing with a bunch of vampire enemies who revealed themselves from hiding, known as the Legion of the Unliving. Baroness Blood Sarge the Hellhound. Shadow Colonel, aka Xarus, son of Dracula. And of course the Count himself, Vlad the Impaler. Let's see how this goes. Blade has a better position fighting the supernatural than just vampires.
I am definitely interested in this because of Ali. I never cared much for Blade but I think this might help change my tune on it.
