La Hire was a pleasant surprise shipment this week from TFSource, I'm happy to say he's magnifique.

Just as complex as Peru Kill but a little easier to transform back and forth. Nice metal reinforced bits and just gorgeous in both modes.

In Lambo mode he's solid once you get all the bits together and lock the arms onto the legs with little metal catches. Doors open and the included figure means he's technically a Human Alliance extension.

Guns are both very nice, and if you're missing the easy (though out of proportion) gun storage in auto mode from Peru Kill I figured out a decent solution.

I didn't realize he has a little spoiler on the back in car mode that can raise, but it's a built in feature, and if you raise it, you can use that to tuck the 'pods' of the time gun into the back of the spoiler, then use the 'clip' piece of the other gun to attach to the Time gun.

If you like realistic sleek car modes, complex transformations and a nice solid feel, even if you don't dig the movie character, I recommend La Hire.

This seems to be the sleeper toy of the year. Still hoping that mine will ship soon from ShowZ.

Thanks for the review and I'm glad you like the figure. Mine has officially left asia and is on its way here.

I'm a bit confused though, are you saying the transformation is complex or no? The way you worded it makes me unsure. I didn't think PK was complex at all, just very intuitive and fun. And this one is LESS complex? That would make me happy since I don't equate complexity with good when it comes to transformations, but if he's around the same complexity or less complex as PK then I'm happy.

La Hire is complex, no doubt, but I find him to be a little less difficult to manipulate than Peru Kill, which I do still like. There are a few steps in PK's transformation that you need to apply pressure and that still can give me a little difficulty - like snapping the waist together flush or ensuring the chest and shoulders are pushed all the way in for car mode.

La Hire is complex but needs less pressure, and he's a bit smoother to transform if that makes sense. Most will not find him difficult but there is the same 'turning inside out' satisfaction that UT gave us before.

Both are great toys, and UT did a great job designing them

I had to find a video to make sense of the legs and in his chest their is a post I either failed to connect or that doesn't line up well in general.

I don't remember transforming Peru kill any more, but I don't think I had to find a video.

I got mine from Toy Dojo yesterday (Sat 21st).
It really is nice in hand. I strongly recommend him to anyone who likes the
saner end of the movie aesthetic.

Over sized. I have him and he's great. Super solid with really strong ratchets. And I like the paint job as well. and he's good size to go with black mamba LS 07 mpm Volkswagen. 20190627_191235.jpg With Peru kill received_1589372101153881.jpeg Actual cars next to each other 20190619_160055.jpg Same size as human alliance slightly longer. 20190619_153236.jpg With Peru kill in bot mode. Oh yeah, i remember that one now. Bee is one of the few characters i wouldn't want oversized. And LT-01 is basically impossible to find nowadays.

He looks really good beside Lockdown, as Lockdown is a little big compared to the regular MPMs, but he seems to be too big for BmB Barricade and BA Optimus.

Sadly mine did not arrive as scheduled. Upon reaching out to TFS-Express, it appears that US customs is taking their sweet time with it. Anyone else still waiting for theirs?

Sorry to hear that man :(  when was it supposed to arrive? Did they give you an ETA on when it will be out of customs?

Darn, it will be another two weeks before I receive mine. He's turning to be one of my most anticipated figures.
