Exactly one person on Twitter's ass, which was then cited by multiple comic news sites and circulated as though it had any truth.

    If the pattern holds.

Well that's okay, you just don't have to watch it, or take part in the discussion threads :)

Wait a minute, no one mentioned if Blade would be rated R like we all want it to be. It’s possible that it could sadly be PG-13 if Disney wants to advertise its connection to the MCU

Literally said that in its own thread just now. This’ll be the first true test of the darker material.

I’m so excited for Phase 4. I don’t have many subscriptions besides Netflix. No Spotify, no HBO, no Hulu. I have amazon prime only because of family sharing.

So I will definitely subscribe to Disney+ for the shows. Although I do hope they make the shows available on Blu-ray at some point

You're right, I didn't take part in the discussion threads for the first one and probably won't for this next one either. If you like it, hat's off to you sir. For me the movie was boring. It had no weight or any real ramifications because you knew she was going to be fine in the end as she was part of Endgame. There were so many different ways the movie could have and should have been better, but at the end of the day it is what it is. You either like it or you don't. Also I would say the stacks on stacks on stacks of Captain Marvel Blu Ray and DVD's make my point better for me, i.e. they aren't selling. I'll pick one up as it's a guaranteed Black Friday doorbuster at $4-$6 but anything more and I overpaid.

Disney also now owns Hulu - They will put the R rated stuff, Like Deadpool on that channel, along with the new ghost rider show, confirmed for adults, where as Disney + will be PG-13 and lower.

    Huh, interesting lineup.

This will likely end up being a very unpopular opinion, but I'm not particularly happy about Scarlet Witch being a co-lead in Doctor Strange 2. She's honestly one of my least-favorite MCU characters. I don't find her bad or unlikable, per-se, but I just find her terribly boring and flat, both in-terms of personality, and her power set (both of which still feel kind of undefined). She just doesn't have a lot of screen presence. It's ironic that they're teaming up, since Doctor Strange is one of my most-liked MCU characters. Maybe this will be the movie where she finally starts working for me, but I was just kind of hoping for a straightforward Doctor Strange sequel. Oh well, I'm sure it will still be fun. Looking forward to seeing more of the trippy side of Marvel, that's my favorite stuff.

I'm torn on the Thor movie. As I said in another thread, I'm not thrilled that Waititi is returning. I don't hate the fact that Natalie Portman's character is going to be the next Thor. I'm one of the few people who don't quite share the hate for that character. She was a bit bland, but I never disliked her. I'm not really sure why they're making her the next Thor though. Seems like Valkyrie or someone (some superhero character) would make more sense.

Captain Marvel 2 could be interesting (I also don't share the hate for that movie/character), especially since she could end up being fleshed out more in a sequel. I found the first Black Panther a bit boring, so the sequel will probably end up being a DVD movie for me unless the trailers look significantly more interesting. I'm glad Black Widow is set post-Civil War. GOTG 3 is easily my most hyped though. As for the rest, I don't really know enough about them to judge.

Obviously they wanted to give Jane Foster another go, considering how she was handled up to this point. Her being Thor for a few years was a big part of the comics in recent years(Thor became unworthy and she took up his mantle while she was also dying of cancer). And as of right now, she’s become the new Valkyrie(as the original perished in War of the Realms) and is cancer free.

And based on the title, they wanted a love triangle here.

Suffice to say, we will not be bored in 2021.

Not necessarily, as a ton of MCU stuff didn’t happen exactly as comics, but man that really came out nowhere during Waids run.

I came in at the tail end and I still found it random. But yeah, I don’t think it’s going to happen here.

I'm excited for most everything on here. Eternals is a BIG question mark as I know almost NOTHING about them. Really kinda glad to see the tensions between Marvel and Portman are done with and her prophecy of "Marvel needing her to play a Lady Thor" came true :D

My only concern are the Disney+ series coming out. I really hope they'll live up to the recent quality of the MCU... as for Thor 4 (Thour?), I'm wondering if Portman's return means Hemsworth may step out of the role of Thor to be the new All Father in a future movie.

What Im wondering is how they’ll do the storyline - given Thor is shown to be still worthy in Endgame, and that was a central part of the original storyline. Hope the passing wont end up just a short scene in the movie.

I agree the Eternals is a tough one - given how they’re a bit similar to the Inhumans as outsiders with god like powers.

Hemsworth I feel is too young to be pushed in that role, and I feel he’ll possibly play a similar role in the comics as that of an equal/ally for the next few years at least.

I’m thinking, they’re just using the general concept at the least.

Doctor Strange, Blade, and Fantastic Four are the only ones I truly care about.

The Eternals and Shan-Chi I'll go see because it's the MCU, but I would have no interest in them any other way. Black Widow is 50/50 for me.

As for Thor, eh, I think he's had enough movies.

Some stuff to quote for right now. I'll offer my thoughts tomorrow.

I'm not. I consider this Mandarin to be the real one and Killain just took the name for his plans.
    Take that, Lames Cameron!
I think it will be a while before any film takes the top spot from Endgame.
I don't know if it counts or not, but SHIELD had a tie-in with Age of Ultron by setting it up and addressing its aftermath.
I like that title. I hope they keep come the films release.
Honestly, Kevin has had to have plans already in place. I just can't see the guy NOT having a plan to use the X-Men and F4 straight way.
I might subsrcibe to Disney+ as well, but I might wait first to see if they do release the shows on Blu-Ray (since Netflix and others seem to be doing that with certain shows).

I’m sure they have some sort of plan, but if I recall correctly he’s also mentioned that the MCU slate is planned out years in advance, and if so, he can’t really disrupt those plans just like that, we’ll most likely see FF and the X-Men after this next phase.

Here's hoping that Captain Marvel ordering child soldiers to hold American citizens in black site extra-judicial prisons gets into theaters at some point. Bonus points if they portray it as heroic like in the comics. :lol

Was that in Civil War II? Man that’s rough, but still doesn’t top what happened to her in the Marcus storyline. Now that would send people through the roof.
