......I have officially watched EVERY review of Terminus giganticus and Gabriel at least 2 times each.... and I still cant decide which Omega to go with, as I want a mix of toy and toon on my shelf for my bots. But in this case, Terminus is all toy, and Gabriel is all toon........[sigh].......... all I know is I am wearing this fence down that I am sitting on trying to decide this big purchase. As its just to close to call with just pictures.

Do we know at this point of any major problems with either bot? ANY kind of info that could possibly help sway me would be appreciated!!

 

TG has the leaning and backpack issues... DX9's seems not to have any major problem... But it's better to wait for reviews of the final...

 

I prefer the head on FT's, but honestly so long as DX9 don't do anything stupid, I think either should make a great display piece.

 

DX9 has a far better transformation, more screen-accurate proportions, better articulation, a better torso when viewed from both the front and the sides, is more stable, and is significantly cheaper (enough to buy a whole separate toy with the difference). FT's only real advantages are better colors, an extra joint per claw (which might actually not help the toy actually grasp things any better than DX9's), a marginally better face sculpt, and a somewhat better looking base mode. So DX9 easily won this to me.

 

Thats my entire problem, I want a mixture of toon and toy for my MP bots. I am not in favor of this move to go 100% toon. I like the base mode of Terminus as its got TONS of nostalgia to the G1 toy. As I had received the G1 Omega Supreme a christmas present... but I LOVE the bot mode of the Gabriel at the same time! Atm I am; if at all possible; trying not to buy one of each. But so far this one is a coin flip that has landed on its edge for me.... ugh.

 

For me, Rubber treads/wheels version always takes the chrome alloy cake for me, so FansToys

 

Which has a bigger railway track? Cos I don't have much space and I plan to display in base mode

 

Go with Fanstoys, given your situation. I bought Gabriel, and it might be the best Purchase I ever made, but it'll have to stay in box mode until i hit the Lottery.

I'd say go Weijiang if you plan on base mode most of the time. Much better value as it has motorised tank and sounds.

 

But it has the biggest diameter between the 3 so I crossed it out. And DX9 is on clearance sale anyway

I'd go DX9 everytime as its a more solid overall package but some ppl just have to have Fanstoys.

I voted DX9, but own Ft Terminus. I want dx9 for bot mode, but have higher purchases besides replacements currently
