Like I said, Toys R Us probably just broke the street date. The TRU website sites August 1st as the actual ship date so I imagine that’s when it’ll start being available more widely. He’s not even widely available in stores, I’ve talked to some guys at other Toys R Us stores in my city even and they said they have them but aren’t supposed to put them on shelves, whether that’s just low level employee speak for I don’t want to look for it or not I don’t know but I think it has some merit

I'm sure. Even though I'm critical of the Bayformers look Ironhide had a pretty unique design.
And maybe I'm being overly harsh right now. It's just 2007 Megatron blows my mind that such a lazy, and uninspiring design like his even got approved some how.
Like what weirdo thought combining tinfoil with Swamthing would make an acceptable Megatron? If it were any of the other Bayformers Megatrons I wouldn't be this dumbfounded.

I mean in itself it is definitely a kinda uninspired design but ownin the MP makes me appreciate it more. It translates better to a figure than to the screen in my opinion.

As the guy who practically owns every single transforming Megatron mold ever released, it appears you have missed quite a bunch of releases in the last 3 decades or so. lol

Any Megatron which isn't a tinfoil Swampthing is a step up from the 2007 version.

I get it. I'm very much on the fence. I'll probably pick it up just because I am collecting the MPM series and so far have them all. Also the toy it self looks to be very well executed. But yes that was one of the very worst designs of the initial trilogy. I'm sure there are a couple that were worse, but not many.

So yes, I think I'm getting him (even though I never got the original toy), but seldom have I been this unexcited about spending that much money on a TF.

    Hysterical and true. :lolol

Might as well bust out the museum piece a little.
