Did you finally receive your package from ShowZ?

 

Yup I got mine last week Monday. I posted up pics a few pages back, but that dang thing took forever to get here. Had me shitting bricks lol

 

Yep, a week ago more or less here, too. I am glad they changed back to the old method. I don't have anything ordered at the moment, but still good to know.

 

Cool. It won't take that long again going forward.

 

How long did it take?

 

Roughly 30 days from ordering to receiving

 

That is way longer than the previous shipping method indeed! Good thing they went back with it!

 

Mine came today. Swapped the head and kept original antenna. The blues aren’t the same but close. I’d like it to have a little more neck because it disappears looking forward.

 

I'm late to the party but I just received this guy and I'm amazed at the quality. Mine came with both heads and it truly looks like it just stepped out of the cartoon.

 

What tanker trailer is that and does it fit properly or did you have to hack it to work?

Also a general shout out to all. Does anyone know a source where you can still get KO MP10 trailers? TF Direct seems to have run out.

 

Posed my TE with Kronos and yeah, between him and MS, I'm 100% content with having both as my definitive MP Primes.

Only way I get a MP44 now is if he's an IT KO. No regrets canceling my preorder.

 

Oh, its Fans Hobby's MB-09 Trailer for their Archenemy/Gunfighter II. It comes with an adapter for anything with an MP10-style trailer hitch to use, so just insert the adapter onto TE-01's hitch and its good to go.

If so, where did you get the Snake Oil sticker from?

 

Yeah, that's the one. The sticker is from Reprolabels/Toyhax- they collaborated with Fans Hobby to make a few sticker sets for the trailers. So the trailer comes with (or at least they did when I bought it) a coupon for a discount on the sticker sets. Though yikes, I just looked on their site, and since the sticker sets are no longer in regular production, they jacked up the price and there's a lead time for them now.

 

Good lord. You weren't kidding about those prices. Maybe @StarEpsilon over at Toyhax can do something about the price.

There are a lot of people who think as you do.

 

So I finally got around to adding TE-01 to the rest of the gang.

First impression: He doesn’t fit in super well with the rest of the bots. His toon look and the fact that MP10 has been at the center of my small collection for the past 4 years, makes it enough of a contrast that I was sort of surprised. But maybe it’s that he’s that different from MP10 and he’ll have his own presence.

I left him in there and moved MP10 to my closet shelf with Mightron.

I’ll see how TE01 looks in there over time. It does make me kinda regret selling MS-01 before I displayed him with the group.

He (MS) may look better with the standard MP crowd as others have mentioned.

Edit: Forgot to add that someone needs to redo Magnus. He looks ridiculous with the rest of the crowd.

 

It looks like he fits right in. I will be the first to admit that that V 2.0 head definitely sold me on the TE over the Magic Square. But I think they went two different directions. TE definitely went the toon route, and looks good with MP-36, where as Magic Square went the more “real world” direction which definitely fits in with some of the older MP car bots. They both look good (and I’m eyeballing that metallic MS-01x).

 

Looks OK to me. It's alright to each his own.
