I have to admit that I had my Overheat displayed as the toy version as I didn't want to break it. That was until I attempted to transform it properly.

Luckily everything went without a hitch but I didn't mind if it was to be stuck in toy mode.

 

Hm got my G2 Dragstrip yesterday. A bit disappointed I guess? Perhaps I had been expecting a paint job as gorgeous as Flipout's? This feels like a step down. First impression is definitely a bit ho hum.

 

The only way I'd go in for that would be if they had G1 toy-design heads (scaled properly to the body not super tiny but using the toy head designs) and the double-blaster backpack-style carmode gun sets reaching up over the cars from the the rear.
Sans those two things, I could easily convince myself to pass on them, since I already have this set in botmode, the G2 set in carmode, and Fans Toys as an alternate option for botmode or possibly combined mode. edit: And I still have the Generation Toy IDW MP-sized set in truck/car modes as well.

 

Aw, man!!! Now I want this too^^^.

 

I ordered mine directly from his store and is about to get on a plane to Canada.

 

How long did it take from when you ordered to when your tracking number first became active?

 

Ordered on the 16th and got a tracking number on the same day. Tracking went live on the 17th.

It'd have to go further for me. Not only heads but complete toy style chests. The toys looked so different from the toon so Fanstoys are kinda only doing toy styled Menasor, not toy styled Stunticons.

 

Nice to finally see that someone is waiting for the XTB MM, which will scale much better with these than the FT MM.

 

I ordered on Ebay on the 17th (3 days ago), received a tracking number the same day and it still hasn't become active. I sent Baba an a PM via Ebay yesterday but no response yet which is unlike him. I sent another PM a few minutes ago.

 

He's inch or 2 taller than hasbros devestator

 

My experience with Baba wrt communication lag is usually about 1-2 days for a response. Guessing they've been pretty busy maintaining both the eBay and direct site and the whole Maverick stock fiasco.

If anyone is curious, G2 overheat does come with the extra face for skids.

 

Two of mine are in transit from China. I guess it's not a big deal since they haven't released the main body bot.
